Best match of football I've seen since Sevilla came back to win last year's Europa League. Rarely will there be 90 minutes more entertaining than that.

One of the best games I've seen this season. Not quite as bonkers as the Norwich-Liverpool game, but very close.

 

No idea how we came back, thought we bossed it though and loved the mentality. That said, Dortmund just walked through our midfield at times. Definitely an area we need to upgrade in the summer! That said.. wow, so happy!!!

No easy games, for what it's worth it's the team I wanted us to face. Crucial thing is the 2nd leg is at Anfield!

They did look very good in previous rounds and are just behind the top 3 in Spain so are most likely much better than us!

 

Anyone can win it at this stage tho - a win and champions league place would be a coup for Klopp tho - start him off nicely for the summer!

Sakho banned by Liverpool for taking a "fat burner" drug. This just made winning the Europa so much harder!

Looks like we won't be good enough for the final - can't see us not conceding next week unfort - 1-0 to Villareal after the first leg in Spain!

Still very much all to play for I'd say! Really could have gone either way the first leg plus it's only a 1-0 lead. Of course concede & it becomes much harder but you scored 3 in half an hour against Dortmund!

Klopp messed up his tactics for that. Still every chance of going through, but we'll need to score early as Villareal will park the bus.

 

A 1-0 makes it more finely poised though. I dare say a 0-0 would have meant we played a similar cagey game, but we really have to go hung-ho now.

So Liverpool will play Sevilla in the Europa League final. A polished performance from them.

If Liverpool win the final what happens to the 4th place team in the Premier League? If Sevilla win it again they'll probably find a way to win it again next season as well :lol:

4th place also gets CL so they'll be 5 English representatives in it next season.

 

Will do our coefficient some good but I can't have both City & Liverpool in the CL at the expense of United :lol:
