Biography

Priscilla Maria Veronica White OBE (27 May 1943 – 1 August 2015), known by her stage name Cilla Black, was an English singer, actress and entertainer. Championed by the Beatles, she began her career as a singer in 1963, and her singles "Anyone Who Had a Heart" (1964) and "You're My World" (1964) both reached number one in the UK. Black had eleven Top Ten hits on the British charts between 1964 and 1971. In May 2010 new research published by BBC Radio 2 showed that her version of "Anyone Who Had a Heart" was the UK's biggest selling single by a female artist in the 1960s. "You're My World" was also a modest hit in the US, peaking at No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100.

 

Along with a successful recording career in the 1960s and early 1970s, Black hosted her own eponymous variety show, Cilla, for the BBC between 1968 and 1976. After a brief time as a comedy actress in the mid-1970s, she became a prominent television presenter in the 1980s and 1990s, hosting hit entertainment shows such as Blind Date (1985–2003) and Surprise Surprise (1984–2001).

 

In 2013 Black celebrated her 50 years in show business. British television network ITV honoured this milestone with a one-off entertainment special which aired on 16 October 2013. The show, called The One & Only Cilla Black, featured Black herself and was hosted by Paul O'Grady. - Wikipedia

Biography

Pierre David Guetta (born November 7, 1967) is a French DJ and producer of electro music. Originally a DJ at nightclubs during the 1980s and 1990s, he co-founded Gum Productions and released his first album, Just a Little More Love, in 2002. Later, he released Guetta Blaster (2004) and Pop Life (2007).

 

Guetta achieved mainstream success with his 2009 album One Love which included the hit singles "When Love Takes Over", "Gettin' Over You", and "Sexy Bitch", all three of which reached #1 in the United Kingdom, and "Memories". The 2011 followup album, Nothing but the Beat, continued this success, containing the hit singles "Where Them Girls At", "Little Bad Girl", "Without You", "Titanium" and "Turn Me On".

 

David Guetta has sold over six million albums and 15 million singles worldwide. In 2011 Guetta was voted as the #1 DJ in the 'DJ Mag Top 100 DJs' fan poll.

Biography

Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll (born in 1991), commonly known by his stage name Kygo, is a Norwegian DJ and record producer. He is best known for his remix of the track "I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran, which has been played 38.1 million times on Soundcloud and around 40 million times on YouTube. The remix entered Romania's Top 40 and has remained there for 14 weeks, peaking at Number 2 as of 3 June 2014. Kygo has accumulated over 100 million views on his music on Soundcloud and YouTube. After a break-through in 2014, he was asked by Coldplay vocalist Chris Martin to create a remix for the song "Midnight".

Biography

Years & Years is an English electronica trio founded in London, England. The group consists of frontman and keyboardist Olly Alexander, bassist Mikey Goldsworthy and synth player Emre Turkmen. Years & Years' music has been described as electropop, mixing R&B and '90s house elements, with Flying Lotus, Diplo, Radiohead and Jai Paul being their core influences.

 

Years & Years' debut single "I Wish I Knew" was released in 2012 via the label Good Bait and their follow up single "Traps" was released in September 2013 by Kitsuné Records. Their third single "Real" was released via Kitsuné in February 2014 and its music video featured an appearance from Olly’s Peter and Alice co-star, Ben Whishaw, and former Misfits actor, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett. In August 2014, Years & Years announced "Take Shelter", a new EP which was released through Polydor Records. The EP reached the number 1 spot on the on the iTunes UK Singles Electronic Chart.

Biography

Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll (born in 1991), commonly known by his stage name Kygo, is a Norwegian DJ and record producer. He is best known for his remix of the track "I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran, which has been played 38.1 million times on Soundcloud and around 40 million times on YouTube. The remix entered Romania's Top 40 and has remained there for 14 weeks, peaking at Number 2 as of 3 June 2014. Kygo has accumulated over 100 million views on his music on Soundcloud and YouTube. After a break-through in 2014, he was asked by Coldplay vocalist Chris Martin to create a remix for the song "Midnight".

Cameron Jibril Thomaz (born September 8, 1987), better known by the stage name Wiz Khalifa, is an American rapper. He released his debut album, Show and Prove, in 2006, and signed to Warner Bros. Biography

English singer/pianist Jasmine van den Bogaerde, who goes by the stage name "Birdy," was born in 1996 in Lymington, Hampshire. Precocious from the very start, Bogaerde began composing her own songs at the age of seven, and by 12 had secured the top spot (out of 10,000 competitors) at 2008's Open Mic UK, a popular live music competition that rewards the winner with a recording contract. In January of 2011, she released her first single, a cover of American indie rock outfit Bon Iver's "Skinny Love," which peaked at number 17 on the U.K. pop charts. Her eponymous full-length debut, released through Atlantic Records, arrived later that November. The record was a huge success, particularly in Australia, Belgium, Holland and France, where it shot straight to number one in the chart, while it also reached the UK Top 20. The collection of stripped back arrangements was mostly compiled of indie artists, including The Postal Service and Fleet Foxes, whose songs were overhauled by Bogaerde's haunting voice and sparse production. The follow-up to her debut presented a new phase in Bogaerde's development as her sophomore album Fire Within displayed her own songwriting talent with 11 original tracks. Fifth Harmony is an American girl group formed on the second season of the X Factor USA. The group consists of members Ally Brooke Hernandez, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen, Camila Cabello, and Lauren Jauregui. They signed a joint deal with Syco Music, owned by Simon Cowell, and Epic Records, L.A. Reid's record label, after finishing in third place behind Tate Stevens and Carly Rose Sonenclar on the show.

 

Following their exit from The X Factor, their debut single "Miss Movin' On" was released and peaked at number 76 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling over 500,000 digital downloads. Following the release of singles, "BO$$" (2014) and "Sledgehammer" (2014), both of which were certified Platinum by the RIAA for selling over 1,000,000 digital downloads, their debut studio album, Reflection was released in February 2015. The album debuted at number five on the Billboard 200, with 80,000 units sold in the first week. The album was also supported by the group's first major headlining tour, the Reflection Tour.

 

The Reflection Tour started on February 27, 2015, in San Francisco. Jasmine V, Jacob Whitesides and Mahogany Lox were the opening acts. When it ended on March 27, 2015, in Philadelphia, a second leg was announced for July 15 through September 15, and will feature Bea Miller, Debby Ryan, and Natalie La Rose as opening acts.
