So Jess will still be around 4,800 ahead with spotify data included?

Oh British public when did you continue supporting a weak artist who releases the same f***ing songs! I can't put into words how much she irritates me

It's not a laughing matter when Jess Glynne is going to get another #1.

That from a Pixie Lott fan.

Can I assume that Maroon 5 should scrape top 40 tomorrow?

LeeWallace breakdown in the chart forum.

I do agree somewhat that Jess' singles are very samey, but 'Don't Be So Hard On Yourself', I'd say is her best so far. It's getting almost to the point of over-saturation as with Sande in 2012/3. I don't really have anything against Glynne, but it's a bit odd that she's on her 5th number 1 in such a short time. Even Katy Perry and Justin Timberlake have not had that many number 1s. Jess Glynne number 1s: 5, Taylor Swift: 0....

It seems much easier for new artists to rack up no.1s these days though. I don't know why that is but its probably just because she's collaborated with lots of other artists.

Take that as karma for 'All About Tonight' hitting #1 Lee.

('Mama Do' and 'Boys & Girl's are fine tho xx)

At least Cheryl will still technically have the upper hand, with all five of her #1s being as a lead artist :kink:

But no one cared about that distinction when Rita Ora equaled Geri's record so I can't see anyone caring now.

I was (half) joking anyway :P

Even getting the number 1 this week it is likely Jess will manage another number 1 or more in the not too distant future. I would rather Jess have the record than Cheryl. That said,i do not feel either artist are the type that have songs that will be remembered long term. Jess Glynn although has huge singles appears very unknown in many ways to me,anyone else feeling the same?

James Bay will most likely end up number 1 unless Cillas funeral helps achieve more sales.

Lee slaying us with the truth tea. How someone as horeible and basic as her can slay so much is beyond me.

Not even Europe is warming to her and we are the center of bad music, apart from Hold My Hand

The only chance I think she has of another #1 this year is if she collaborates with someone - her album's out next week and it's incredibly unlikely for a post album single to make the top spot.

I don't dislike Jess but for her to tie the record it feels very strange, not saying features shouldn't count but the fact that three of the five aren't even her own songs makes it even stranger to me

I'm more than happy for Jess to equal the record with this, I agree it's by far her best single. It's just Hold My Hand I can't abide, My Love is a bit basic too. I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan and I can't see how she's grabbing so many #1s!
Lol Lee. You are a Saturdays and Pixie Lott fan, you don't get more basic than that. So happy for Jess! DBSHOY is her best song yet so I am happy for it's success. Hopefully her Emeli Sande collab is her next single so she can break the record. :P

I'll just stop you there before I drag you into a river.

What have The Saturdays or Pixie Lott got to do with Demon Glynne? I promise I will check into Radley (PLL) if she dares to release a single with Emeli Sande which goes to number one, just when I thought i couldn't LOATHE the girl more.

Secondly, when will Jess Glynne release such a bop / feel good song like Higher, Not Giving Up or What About Us. If we're going to talk about Pixie, lets discuss how she slayed so f***ing hard without having to be famous through collaborations.

Girl Bye.

I'm really happy for Jess tbh. As much as I live Cheryl I would rather Jess take it although unlike all you guys Don't Be So Hard On Yourself is nowhere near my fave from her.

I fear for Buzzjack.

It's in a bad place to be appreciating Demon Glynne.
