I would have thought Charlie & Meghan would stay at #1 far longer than a week, Jess clearly has the #1 in her sights now at least now I have a better picture in my head sales wise, actually the top 3 sold at least 7k between them yesterday. It be interesting next week if Jess can hold up against Rachel Platten and Alex Jaehn especially with Jess's album released next week, as she will have another version getting cherry picked.

Great to see Jess comfortably ay No.1, I did think it was likely given the sluggish sales of Charlie Puth.

Lol I'm not sure if all this calling Jess Glynne basic is trolling or being serious. Even though three of her number ones are features, she's the sole vocalist in two of them and they have all sold very well (unlike Cheryl's number ones which have all fallen rather quickly after hitting the top spot due to fan base only.). I think she's an amazing successor to the throne to be honest.

"All" fallen rather quickly? I'd argue that only I Don't Care did. The others all sold over 400k at least (and Fight For This Love is a million seller :P). Let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

I'd argue that Jess IS basic too, and that's by no means a bad thing because she's made some good tracks, but is she bringing anything new? Definitely not. It's a good achievement for her regardless and whilst I don't think Cheryl and Jess are quite comparable despite the same amount of #1s, it's very impressive to get her 5th #1 on the day the album comes out.
