August 18, 20159 yr Urgh at 'Fight Song' peaking at #6. It's peaked on airplay so I'm guessing that it wont manage to go top 5 overall which is rather sad :(
August 18, 20159 yr Amazing debut for Lana *.* Think that is by far her best peak in the US not including remixes
August 18, 20159 yr One Directon's drop    yay for Omi reclaiming #1, four weeks in the US is too little for a song as big as this. Good to see The Hills doing really well now too
August 18, 20159 yr outstanding chart performance for 'cheerleader' ~ it's fantastic to see a dance track having so much deserved success stateside B-)
August 18, 20159 yr Author Omfg this is a mess. Lana debuted at #51 instead of #7 due to new chart data, or something. They've been having trouble with data since the tracking week change and been low key revising the charts, but this is probably the biggest f***-up so far.
August 19, 20159 yr Ah, the #7 debut did seem highly irregular. Unlucky though, #51 in the US and AU now. At least Good For You returning to the top 10 instead is a good thing, and The Hills in the top 5 to boot! Would prefer to see The Weeknd at #1 but I suppose this should help Omi stop See You Again from being the Song of the Summer, which would be :manson:
August 19, 20159 yr Author http://i.giphy.com/3oEduTlUCQoHtdVJcY.gif WEEPING and the chart is now being posted tomorrow instead so stay tuned i guess.
August 19, 20159 yr I hope the top 5 position for 'The Hills' is actually real! I was thinking #7 seemed abnormally high for Lana, but at the same time I thought she'd be a bit higher than #51
August 19, 20159 yr what a f***ing mess. Poor Lana. Manager: Lana, we did it! We're number one Lana: Yasssssssssssssssss Manager: Sorry we're #51.
August 19, 20159 yr Big mess at Billboard. I was actually excited for a second before I began to suspect something didn't add up with digital sales. At least she is likely to hold up next week, thanks to her video being released.
August 19, 20159 yr  I knew it had to be a mistake given she didn't even have a full week of sales and was only #1 for like 2 days. Selenur returning to the top 1p tho
August 19, 20159 yr Author Chart HighlightsOMI's "Cheerleader" climbs back up to #1 on the Hot 100 for a fifth week. The song sold 119,000 downloads during the tracking week, ranking at #2 on Digital Songs. It holds at #2 on Radio Songs, up 3% to 149 million in audience impressions. Last week's #1, The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face", drops to #2. The track tops Digital Songs for a second week, outselling "Cheerleader" by only a narrow margin as it also sold about 119,000 downloads. It also spends a second week atop Radio Songs, logging 158 million in audience impressions, and a fifth week atop On-Demand Songs. On the genre charts, "CFMF" keeps at #1 on Pop Songs for a second week and on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for a fifth. The Weeknd climbs with another track: "The Hills", which hit the top 10 four weeks ago, flies to a new peak of #5 this week, giving The Weeknd his third top-5 hit. He's the first lead solo male to have two simultaneous top-5 hits in over five years; in June 2010, B.o.B's "Airplanes" and "Nothin' on You" ranked at #2 and #5 respectively. "The Hills" sold 75,000 downloads last week, ranking at #7 on Digital Songs, but it owes its rise to airplay—it debuts at #42 on Radio Songs with 30 million in audience impressions. The song jumps 6-3 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and debuts at #31 on Pop Songs.Top 40: Jason Derulo's "Want to Want Me" leaps back up 25-20 with the Digital Gainer honor. The track blasts back up 50-20 on Digital Songs thanks to a "virtual duet" with Luke Bryan that went viral. Further down, R. City's "Locked Away" climbs 35-25 with the Airplay Gainer honor. The song rises 35-23 on Radio Songs and 16-14 on Pop Songs. Below R. City, Fetty Wap's "Again" is this week's highest-debuting song (sorry Lana) as it starts at #33. The song is Fetty's fourth-straight top-40 hit, all four of which are in the top 40 this week. "Again" debuts at #4 on Digital Songs at #8 on Hot Rap Songs.Aside from "Again", three other songs enter the top 40 this week. Shawn Mendes' "Stitches" climbs 42-35 to become the singer's second top-40. "Stitches" lifts 27-22 on Digital Songs (45,000 downloads sold) and 27-26 on Pop Songs. Meanwhile, Thomas Rhett also earns his second top-40 as "Crash and Burn" jumps 41-39. The song jumps 34-29 on Radio Songs and keeps at #3 on Hot Country Songs. Finally, Zac Brown Band earn their 11th top-40 with "Loving You Easy", which leaps 44-40. The song rises 21-18 on Radio Songs and debuts at #49 on Digital Songs with 24,000 downloads sold. On Hot Country Songs, it stays at its #4 peak.Further Down: Lana Del Rey's "High by the Beach" debuts at #51 after selling 67,000 downloads in its first week, giving it a #9 debut on Digital Songs. Below Lana, Drake's "Hotline Bling" climbs 66-57 in its second week with the Streaming Gainer honor. It debuts at #38 on Streaming Songs and surges 20-18 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. Finally, Luke Bryan's "Strip It Down" re-enters the chart at #63. The track vaults 19-13 on Hot Country Songs. Edited August 19, 20159 yr by dhwe
