21 4.75 U Smile

Coming in an undeserved last place is the fourth single from My World 2.0. The track failed to make much of an impact on the charts anywhere but I was hoping it could at least manage to be a bit higher! Out of 21 rates, only 6 people scored it higher than 5, although it received no -1 scores.

20 5.19 Love Me

Now this is one I am very much upset about. This was the song that properly clicked with me and made me a huge fan of Justin's. The track is a rework of The Cardigans' Lovefool and received good reviews from critics upon release. It was only released as a promotional single (essentially what an instant grat is these days) but received a music video so I included it in the rate too. Overall I'd say this is my second favourite of his tracks!

19 5.23 Pray

220px-Praysingle.jpg

Pray was the only single released from My World Acoustic (released as part of My Worlds: The Collection in the UK), and even then its single release was limited to only a select few European countries, so it unsurprisingly had a few null votes during this rate. The track is said to be a "contemporary Christian song" and was influenced by Michael Jackson's Man in the Mirror. Pray had little success worldwide but managed to chart in regions such as the United States despite not being pushed as a single there.

'U Smile' and 'Pray' are both pretty mediocre, so no major losses there to start with! 'Love Me' isn't bad, but nothing amazing either.

'Beauty and a Beat' to slay please

Never keen on "U Smile", kinda sounds like U Smell when he's singing it, also "Pray" is kinda forgettable, but "Love Me" didn't deserve to be this low, it's an okay song.

18 5.37 One Less Lonely Girl

220px-Justin_Bieber_-_One_Less_Lonely_Girl_(Official_Single_Cover).jpg

One Less Lonely Girl was the second single released by Justin from his debut album My World. The track failed to make much of an impression in the UK, stalling at #62, but got to #16 in the US and #10 in Canada, outpeaking One Time in both regions. It's not unexpected that so many early Bieber tracks are falling early but it's a shame nonetheless as this should be much higher IMO!

17 5.61 Never Let You Go

220px-Neverletyougocover.jpg

Never Let You Go was released as a promotional single from My World 2.0, but like Love Me, it also received a music video so I included it here. Despite its status as a promo single, it managed to peak at #21 in the US, #14 in Canada and #16 in New Zealand, not bad going! The track was a grower I found and I'm actually surprised it's not lower than a few that have gone already but nonetheless, a respectable result.

16 5.85 One Time

220px-Onetimealbumcover.jpg

Where it all began! One Time was released as Justin's debut single in 2009, and reached #17 on the Hot 100 and unlucky #11 in the UK singles chart. Nowadays it seems mostly forgotten in favour of Baby but it still did well to set Justin up as the next big thing. I remember seeing him perform this on Blue Peter, and that was the first I heard of him. Random anecdote. Fun.

15 5.88 Mistletoe

220px-Justin_Bieber_-_Mistletoe.jpg

The only single released from Justin's Christmas album, Mistletoe was released in October 2011 and entered the chart here at #21, and it reached #11 in the US. Justin also performed the track on The X Factor later that year, giving it a chart re-entry in the top 30.

It's not surprising to see but it's a shame :( Love Me, One Less Lonely Girl and One Time are probably in my Bieber top 5 (alongside As Long As You Love Me and Beauty and a Beat)

As long as his Believe singles are at the top I am fine.

Boyfriend to win ha

One Less Lonely Girl will always remember now in my opinion for that ill-advised version that he did.

14 6.00 Eenie Meenie (with Sean Kingston)

220px-Eeniemeeniecover.jpg

Eenie Meenie was released as the second single from My World 2.0 worldwide and it managed to give Justin his second top 10 hit over here in the UK, making it to #9 and having a fairly decent chart run in the end. The track was originally intended to be the first single from Sean's third album Back 2 Life but it never made the cut in the end. It's one of my least favourite singles by Justin (although it's not bad by any means) so I'd hoped it would be a tad lower myself. It's the first track to get over an average of 6!

13 6.12 #thatPOWER (will.i.am feat. Justin Bieber)

http://a3.mzstatic.com/eu/r30/Music/v4/85/cb/b5/85cbb51d-285d-b484-37b8-cf055a6181e6/cover170x170.jpeg

The lowest feature of the countdown, #thatPOWER was released as the third single from will.i.am's album #willpower. It charted at #2 in the UK and whilst it wasn't quite as huge as its predecessor Scream & Shout, it matched Justin's highest chart peak to date (tied with Boyfriend) and spent 7 weeks in the top 40 (4 of which were in the top 10).

12 6.19 All That Matters

220px-All-That-Matters-by-Justin-Bieber.jpg

I think most of us have tried to forget #MusicMondays was actually a thing and it's understandable really. Justin released a new song every week for 10 weeks, and each of these songs made the UK top 40 with varying degrees of success, but very few of them were really worth bothering with in my opinion oops. This was one of two that received video treatment and therefore I'd argue they're the only two official singles from the compilation album that housed these tracks, Journals. Not a bad track, there were worse released during those 10 weeks (and way better), but this should be a lot lower in the countdown I think!

11 6.26 Live My Life (Far East Movement feat. Justin Bieber)

220px-LiveMyLife.jpg

Not too far ahead of #thatPOWER, another collaboration drops out. Live My Life was released in 2012 less than a month after Boyfriend, and it followed it right into the top 10 to peak at #7. Despite this, it dropped fairly quickly and has been mostly forgotten ever since. Justin wasn't even in the video for this track oops. The chorus is the best part of the track anyway I think. Oh and there was a remix with RedFoo but that's best left forgotten.

TOP 10

All Around the World (feat. Ludacris)

As Long As You Love Me (feat. Big Sean)

Baby (feat. Ludacris)

Beauty and a Beat (feat. Nicki Minaj)

Boyfriend

Confident (feat. Chance the Rapper)

Never Say Never (feat. Jaden Smith)

Next To You (Chris Brown feat. Justin Bieber)

Somebody To Love

Where Are Ü Now (Skrillex & Diplo feat. Justin Bieber)

#Thatpower is great (as a guilty pleasure) - surely better than that Far East Movement feature at least?!

'Eenie Meenie' is a complete abomination, it actually baffles me how it's managed an average that high.

Edited by mr_pmt

Actually like "Live My Life" when it came out, and totally forgotten about it, until this rate, "One Time" is also okay, but some of these that have dropped so far are pretty awful, the duet with Will I Am is terrible and "Eenie Meanie" is another pretty bland track also.

As for the one left to come, a pretty decent top 10, but "As Long As You Love Me" shouldn't be there, actually hate that song. But "Baby" should hopefully win and hope that "Boyfriend" and "Somebody To Love" does well.

Never Say Never making the top 10 <3

I'd say that's leagues better than about 98% of his other stuff...
