Miracle is now on iTunes...

I assume the others won't bother releasing their songs, apart from Joe and Jake in a couple of months, which is a pity as I'd quite like an HQ studio version of Darline's track.

I think most of them have mentioned they will be releasing their songs, Matthew has released 'A Better Man' - Would be great if we got back to the 'Song For Europe' days when all acts would release their songs.

I'm relatively pleased with our choice this year. I couldn't really see any of the options doing much at Eurovision, but this was the most suitable song. I don't think they're the strongest of the performers we had - Bianca impressed me the most on the night. If I had it my way, we'd be sending Bianca but with Joe & Jake's song.
I like Jake & Joe but would have preferred Bianca. Jake and Joe wont win but will do better than last year.

Didn't expect it to be released this early, seeing as it didn't go on air on sale.

Would have been nice to do a proper photo for the single cover though...

On iTunes and Spotify now!

Fair play to them for getting backed by Sony for the release, Just hope they fund some serious European promotion for them although seeing as this has been released with a cover that looks like it's been made on word and the fact nobody knows it's been released is not the best start!

Oh dear, the staging for Eurovision is just going to be a rehash of that isn't it? Complete with a shot with the public behind them for the last chorus and a handshake at the end of the song. Sigh...

Well good to know they didn't spend any of that precious budget on looking interesting there.

But then they were never going to do anything memorable staging wise, we leave all the quirkiness to the continentals.

Seriously we question why major songwriters and acts don't want to represent the UK, Even with major label backing they have ended up with a video that looks like it cost £1.88 to make and the majority of the budget was spent on the smoke machine plus a non promoted release with a hashed together front cover hardly the greatest incentive for a songwriter to put their best work forward.
Let's remember we're still waiting for an official video for "Heroes". Can't say I'm overly arsed about the video, I'm more bothered about the resources and cash they provide on May 14th. It has the legs to do "pretty well" with the right visual aesthetics.
Our entry is sounding very dated and boring to me, I really can't see it doing any/much better than the last few years.

Let's remember that 'Heroes' is actually a good solid pop song and the lyric video probably had a bigger budget than what Sony have hashed together - Just seems like a missed opportunity for Joe & James with the video as the contestants get huge views prior to the contest on YT etc, and having one that's been filmed on an iPhone 3 is not going to get people interested.

It's seemingly had a slight update since that was posted. Still not breaking the bank, but at least it's nice to look at now :kink:

Just been looking at their Twitter and Instagram. It looks as if Sony has got them out on a schools tour to promote the single - they were in three schools in Manchester yesterday.

The video's not much to write home about, true, but the song's still good. And schools tours, lest we forget, were what gave Take That one of their initial key audiences once upon a time - and more recently The Wanted when they started.

Ha, they performed at Swinton High, mile away from me, they could've dropped by for a drink, etc...

Really though, surely Sony could get them on better platforms? Or maybe it's embedding them? Like you say, it's setting a foundation.
