'Get Weird' is now Silver in the UK :o

Can't believe they actually managed to get 60k+!

Best opening sales for them! Now, lets hope they can sustain sales this week!

They apparently stopped certificating albums according to shipment, but I'm surprised they've managed 10k+ since yesterday's midweek figure. Maybe some sales were missing from somewhere...The tour bundles?
Bit gutting they missed the No.1, but 60,503 sales is very impressive and puts them in a good position for the future!
Wow, was expecting it to only JUST beat the DNA sales, wasn't expecting 60k sales at all?! That's absolutely fantastic for them and as someone said, Elvis's album was so far ahead, it's hard to really begrudge or be mad at it. So happy at how this has all gone.

For perspective on just how big those opening sales are the current climate, here's all the number 1 albums of this year's opening sales, from highest to lowest

I bought the slipcase edition from HMV yesterday... Gonna give the copy I bought last week to my little niece as she's a fan :) Pleased to see this album do so well!
Fantastic sales, I really was not expecting that! Definitely was a good move placing this up for pre-order after Black Magic!

So far

In most countries their best charting album. Should also have a nice top 5 debut on the global chart.

Wow, I mean, I know that releasing it in November means higher sales but I'd still never have imagined it would've sold more than Jess Glynne's! So good for them.
Tbf, although I understand them waiting until they could get the X-Factor promo, if they had released it 2 weeks earlier, I think they would have gotten that number one, as even without the XF i doubt 5SOS would have had more sales than them, and then they could have used XF to keep it top 3 or 5 in the next couple of weeks. But tbh it's a small complaint, because i'm so unbelievably proud of those figures :cheer:

#5 in the midweeks, with pretty much nothing coming for them, so they should remain top 5! Looking at roughly 25 - 30k this week :D

Jess Glynne is the only person who could possibly push them down to #6, but they still sold more than her yesterday.

Yaaaaas so pleased this looks to be a constant hit for them :cheer:
