Starting off the top 10 we have two songs whose nearness beggars belief. They both received the exact same number of 10's, 9's and 8's before finally tie-breaking on four 7's to three. The Saturdays do make their expected appearance in the top 10 whilst Alesha Dixon is still in contention with her other effort.

So despite double Dixon in the top 10 both her tracks bow out early with ballad Breathe Slow edging out the upbeat The Boy Does Nothing. Finishing in a very impressive 7th is Human which I'm mightily pleased about as it's comfortably one of my faves of theirs.

Breathe slow is great but I prefer the boy does nothing by miles :wub: Yay for Issues making the top 10 :heart:

Winner of 3 previous Now Rates, Britney Spears can only make #5 this time but with an average good enough to have won some editions, proving the popularity of this particular one. Perhaps the surprise of the rate is MGMT coming home a brilliant sixth position with Kids, which at times looked a genuine contender for at least the top 3.

Kelly Clarkson, who won the Now 81 Rate, doesn't quite repeat the feat here finishing in third with her only UK #1 single to date. Girls Aloud manage fourth with a song I myself had completely forgotten about (and subsequently don't see the appeal of oop :kink:) but had plenty of fans in this rate to finish with a strong average.

 

So that leaves us with Just Dance Vs. The Fear (coincidentally also the first 2 tracks on the album) - who will take the crown?

With an exceptional average of 9.21 the Now 72 rate winner is The Fear by Lily Allen. Both songs proved immensely popular in this rate and it was between the two all the way through until The Fear took a commanding lead near the end. Just Dance only received 3 scores lower than 8 whilst The Fear only received one! A fully deserving winner and having just won the Lily Allen Singles rate recently it can now add a Now victory to its collection.

Fantastic results, Lily Allen's "The Fear" wins yet again on another rate, her 2 discography rates and this one, such an amazing song. As well as Lady Gaga's classic smash "Just Dance" which is still one of my faves from her. Also so happy that Kelly Clarkson's best song went top 3 here with such fantastic high scores.

I can't believe how negative and intolerant Jester is, that league table really tells us a lot about his character.
