This was a pretty disappointing semi on first listen (as usual there weren't many BAD songs but there were very few highlights). Hoping a lot of these prove to be growers. Until then... Florina hype. Also reiterating Terra Avium hype and D'yermak'er hype.

Ooh, I didn't even know the original of 'Feed Your Head', so that's an honest mistake cheapness.

 

I'm still only cherrypicking (although I think I've listened to nearly everything that this shitty German youtube lets me), but I'm sure that there will be some countires fighting for top points who just missed out in the previous contest(s), so yay for that :)

I've found this to be a very average semi on first listen, not many highlights. :(

first run through, 16 candidates, overall quite poppydancyish peppered with some interesting stuff.

So many good songs in Semi 2, wow! Thought about sending Feed Your Head a month or two ago but thought it lacked *something*, turns out all it lacked was a decent radio edit at the time - go go go Land Of DW *.* <3

Personally I'm finding the standard very good, there's a fairly close mid-pack going on. I'm struggling to cut and rank.

 

That Level 3 video is giving me some serious Chela vibes.

This contest is getting 100% ridiculous. The deadline is the day after tomorrow and we still don't have mp3 packs?? I truly don't care about the design and glitter, a contest can be enjoyable without one single gif, but I do need an mp3 pack to go through the entries properly.

I understand that hosts might have a life, so I often offer my help to convert the videos (noone asked for my help, ever). Yesterday I was at home all day, could have done this for both semis.

We usually have a serious deadline for voting, maybe we should have one for doing the packs as well?? I don't care who does it, hosts might be busy, but I can't imagine that noone from the 70+ participants has the time to collect the mp3s and upload them. Again, I'm happy to do this (nearly) every month. JUST ASK.

 

 

sounds like a good offer B-) I'm about ready to vote but hanging on in case the packs appear as

 

a) my tinny laptop speakers don't do songs justice and I prefer having them on cd's for the full-sound - some do sound better!

b) I'm going to download the best tracks off itunes if I have to but only the top few get that or it'd cost a fortune :o

This, like 48 hours SHOULD be enough, even if you have a very busy life. One could harvest the tracks during the confirmation period as well
