MANiCURE would be quite low down my ranking if I were to do one I think. Jewels N Drugs would be at the top end :drama:

'MANiCURE' is great! I think it's in the top 5 of this album for me, but I don't think that really says too much really.

 

EDIT: Oh and me and FROOT are clearly the only sane Gaga fans on here. -_-

I really did not like 'MANiCURE' initially but it slowly crept on me and now I love it. I find it too much and quite sickly at times, but oddly entrancing and enjoyable. Same goes for most of the album actually, lol.

You've pretty much hit the nail on the head with that description in regards to the album. I've struggled to make my opinion on it but that's pretty much it - to certain degrees, all the songs feels tacky, uninspired and a complete contrast to the impression I got of what this album was going to be, yet, for a handful, there's something that keeps me going back to them. I know Gaga was trying to present her view of fame now that she'd actually experienced it big time, but it still felt like the result of the album was incredibly lacking in direction and meaning. Plus I can't un-associate the era with that horrid cover art and shockingly bad single release scheduling.
