Well Justin Bieber has just managed 8 consecutive weeks at #1 on the streaming chart. I'd be surprised if Adele didn't equal that and with the collapse of the download market and her strong sales I firmly believe she will be unchallenged until Christmas.

Adele also smashed the record in the US for the highest amount of plays recorded in one day! OMG!
