December 8, 20168 yr Proof herein that the Brits Critic Choice Award is messed up and doesn't promise chart success. Jack Garratt proved it by not having a single Top 40 (let alone Top 60) single the whole of 2016. And now he's yesterday's news and has been forgotten. Good riddance.
December 8, 20168 yr His album is Brillant and I have been enjoying it all this year, good that the award introduces unique talented artists to the mainstream!
December 8, 20168 yr Well I love his album. It's very difficult for good music to do well these days.

It's not all about chart music you know! Every single he has released has been excellent and is album is very good aswell. Very strange comment imo

Very strange comment imo Isn't the point of the Citics Choice award though for rising stars who are highly anticipated to be the next big thing? I realise they won't get it right every time, but Jack Garrett is the worst winner in recent years.
December 8, 20168 yr I don't think he was a bad choice, it's not like they had many notable options for 'future stars' in 2016
