I'm reasonably happy with 13th (13th in my 13th contest ^_^ ), particularly considering a few people were thinking I'd end a lot lower. I can't help but feel a little disappointed that certain people I thought would like it, didn't, but what can I doooooo. It's nearly the same but Ashton/Yehesi are 6 points out and Dobago/Syndare 1 point out, so either me or James may have transposed them somewhere (I'll have a look through to check if this is my error). And Kluminican Republic should just have 2 more points. James' scores don't quite add up right so I'm pretty sure he just typed in a score for Klum wrong somewhere.

 

EDIT: Ashton/Yehesi was my error, I misread Syndare's votes that said '06 Gabriella'. I'm letting myself off for that one!!

Definitely a grower considering I was projected to come 37th and ended up 10th.

 

Very happy with another top 10, was worried when I was stalling in the high 20s that I was going to "underperform"! :lol:

 

In a way though in extremely disappointed that I came 19th in the semi final. :unsure:

I Had to change a few of the scores in this one. I just checked them against the spreadsheet and Persephonia, Dobago & Syndare were all a few points out.

 

Dobago and Syndare actually WERE correct up to this point and incorrect afterwards, so I'm not sure what error you had in your spreadsheet there!

 

I'm not sure where Klum Rep lost their additional 2 points, would help if I had a copy of your spreadsheet. I'll post my one tonight anyway x

As I haven't commented on a lot of these results yet (as I am contractually obliged to as a BJSC final thread spammer);

- Very pleased to see Quintessa at least setting a big new personal best, my hype for it doesn't feel totally unjustified! Easily getting the most 18s as well <3

- Completely baffled at how well JOYRYDE did, Rich still has some of his magical prediction power in him then I guess! To be honest I have gone off the song a LOT, from nearly voting for it in the semi to finding it quite average in the end, but all for Vülkyria getting another hit I guess ~

- Shocked at how well Tinnmark did as well. Yay for Espen and Hushkanukia both finishing in the top 10 though after struggling earlier on in the results :D

- Tartford finally getting a top 20 hit! Very much deserved <3 Next stop a top 10 hit maybe ~

- Very happy with top 30 for Terra Avium after how much of a surprise qualifier it was.

- FSR Rontvia finishing near the bottom after all, how weird that nearly all their support seemed to be in the first few votes!

- Unovia that low?? I thought they'd be a top 10 contender. Huh.

- Poor brave Syndare, second time they've been the only country to not pass 100 points :drama: I really wasn't a fan of the song unfortunately, sorry Daveeed.

 

Also, third semi-final win for us! *.* (Still yet to ever win both the semi and the final though, with my two previous semi winners being Jaymes Young and Kids Of The Apocalypse).

I wasn't expecting it to do much so 27th is actually very good (for us). was one of my fave tracks of 2014, so I hope some have made a good discovery from it. Well that's phenomenal, getting only 11 votes but 8 of them were for 10 or more points. Thanks to those I hadn't thanked yet. I'm happy enough with my result seeing that some people really loved Avalanche!

 

LOVE the winner, the whole top three even. Amazing result for Tinnmark finishing 8th despite being nowhere near 'til the very end. Shocked at the low placings for Pupok and Unovia! :( Crazy that 5 of my top 6 finished 30th or lower but it was nice being able to help out songs that really needed it.
