I think it's a fairly strong final, with the exception of Reggie n Bollie so I'd hope they disappear pretty quickly. I'm team Louisa all the way and I hope the public warm to her. I agree with Rich about 4th Impact, I don't think the public will be as crazy about them as the producers want us to be. Those are my main thoughts.
October 25, 20159 yr Yeah, I could see Max as a dark horse, the audience seemed keen on him at the six chair challenge and he seems to have a surprising amount of public support. I guess 'guy with guitar' will always be popular to an extent, he just seems to lack the charisma to be a proper big star/make it as high as 2nd imo, I don't think we've seen much of his personality so far. I could also see him getting a lot of 'boring/safe/take a risk/unmemorable' comments from judges week in/week out if he lasts too long. Edited October 25, 20159 yr by gooddelta

October 25, 20159 yr Wow... I've only seen this weekend's set of shows, but I didn't get "OMG, WINNER!!!" vibes from Louisa whatsoever. Strong sounding, but not distinctive vocally. Didn't excite me. I'll have to wait until the live shows to really judge further with them all, but overall I feel like this set of finalists is weak. From the reactions in the studio it seemed like Max is going to be very popular (God knows why).

Alien Uncovered There's no stand-out winner for me as I can see Louisa being pushed very heavily as their Plan A, but ultimately I see her going a similar way to the likes of Lauren Platt or Amelia Lily. I actually see Lauren as being the most successful girl, with her personality going some way to give her a Stacey Solomon style result. I'm still struggling to find an overwhelming likeability and connection to Keira, I can see her doing a Tamera Foster. That leaves the door wide open, and Anton ticks the boxes. Very likeable and the likely old fashioned song choices will ultimately appeal to the primary voting audience - although the X Factor app votes may skew this. I can see Anton starting off very highly in the votes, and the producers will probably attempt to take him down Andrea-style but I'm not sure there's going to be another alternative. I think Bupsi will lose out to Reggie n Bollie in the "novelty" act stakes, and will probably end up bottom 3 first week with Mason and Alien Uncovered. I see no voting fanbase for the latter unfortunately and will be instantly eliminated and they will want to keep Mason in as long as possible - although he will probably get an instant elimination the following week, following a Stephanie Nala-style trajectory. Seann will probably do a Jahmene, very likeable and very talented but ultimately not having the wider appeal of Anton. Che will be in the upper middle, Max in the lower middle and unfortunately I think 4th Impact's high energy performance will ultimately tire on the voters and will be a shock early-ish exit after a showdown save no doubt.

Mason Noise 11. Bupsi 12. Alien Uncovered I don't think the older demo vote as much on X Factor as they do on other shows. Plus, the app vote is definitely aimed at younger people. Their target voter is girls and girls/women don't vote for girls. I think it's going to come down to what happens week by week because there really isn't a standout winner. Che and Max are going to get the votes.. Max will get the credible 'guy with guitar' vote and Che will get the 'omg he can SAAANG i love him' vote. Lauren will get the Stacey Solomon vote but she's far better vocally than Stacey. Seann will have the intrigue vote if he changes it up. Louisa will get all the hype now because she's great but I think Rita will lose focus with her halfway through and not know what to do with her. Because of her age, they'll probably have her singing 'Let It Go' and it will irk everyone and it'll mark her downward spiral. 4th Impact are great but they're still a girlband at the end of the day.. who is going to vote for them? I think their spectacle will keep them in til around the halfway mark. Kiera's got a great voice but there's not much else going for her, I couldn't even remember her previous auditions. I definitely think she'll be the first girl out. Reggie n Bollie are the new Jedward, they'll have a few weeks and wind some people up when 'real singers' are going home instead of them. Anton Stephens is too creepy to muster up a lot of support. He seems very disingenuous and I'm perplexed as to how anyone can think he'll win! He's Andy Abraham 2.0 but that dude got lucky in his season when he got to the final.. there was nobody else worth voting for. It's clear Mason's not loved by any stretch. I may be wrong with putting him so low because he'll have the heartthrob vote but apart from that.. I can't see him doing much. I adore Bupsi but I don't think the audience will connect with her and she will end up going home because she was good but nobody felt the urge to vote for her. Alien Uncovered believe their hype way too much. They were good but they are so arrogant with it. They're too try hard for me, their whole style is too much.
