Awesome #1 :wub:. 'Kamikaze' totally sounds like a hit-in-waiting. Very clever in setting MØ up for breakout solo success via all the great attributes of 'Lean On', both in terms of her contribution to that and production-wise.

 

Stumbled upon that Mura Masa track the other day and really liked it unsurprisingly, having enjoyed what I've heard of both acts' previous stuff. Very nice and groovy~ :funky:

 

Intrigued by your CHVRCHES' inclusions here. Shamefully I've only listened once to the album and though I liked it all, I wasn't concentrating enough to be able to pick out standouts. How do you think the record compares to their debut?

 

I adore 'Fuel To The Fire' <333. Fast becoming my favourite 2015 BJSC track, let alone winner. :o

 

Lots of other great stuff here, particularly 'Jackrabbit', 'Alive', 'Circles' and 'Never Forget You'. :D

Great to see one of BJs best ~tastemakers~ back on the personal chart forum weekly!

 

What a great #1 for the re-up, “Kamikaze” is really growing on me from a pretty high start point and should be in my Top 10 very soon (maybe this Sunday). I've not heard the new Shura track but will be checking it out v soon as I was obsessed with “White Light” over the summer. Loads of amazing tracks inc. Deerhunter (x2), San Fermin, CHVRCHES (multiple) and of course Young Fathers! Thank you very much for your 18 - the only one we received but the one that meant the most. Hopefully we'll be able to reciprocate over the next few contests as you always bring the quality.

I missed my ordered lists. I brought them back.... :3

 

They're both rather consistent records. The Bones' highs are a bit higher (tough to beat The Mother We Share!), though there's certainly enough standouts to make it worthwhile (all the ones in this chart + Never Ending Circles, Make Them Gold etc.)

I need to give the CHVRCHES album a listen too, though if it's all as great as "Leave a Trace" I'll be pleased. I feel like such a flop-ass music fan because I've only really been paying attention to the big pop acts all year and not much else :drama: Hopefully I can catch up before the new year.
