They have to keep Kiera. She was let down by Rita last night. I think many of the contestants were ruined by the judges' song choices and stage settings.

 

The girls in Alien don't seem very likeable either; beyond their appearances they have zero personality and just don't seem very nice.

Alien are so bad without shit loads of production around them.

Why wasn't Kiera like that yesterday!? I MUCH preferred Alien yesterday but that was really quite bad from them in the sing-off. The right decision was made ;o

They definitely need to do something different with Keira though. There's so much potential but I don't think she or they know what to do to maximise her potential, annoyingly.

I'm glad Keira made it, but I don't think she is the winner, Louisa is the one to beat.

There are so many good girls with good vocals in the competition, it's gonna be a bore, at least Alien were bringing something different. :(

Keria's problem now is that she knows she has no fans. 2/3 weeks and she will be gone.

In terms of the sing off they made the right choice but Kiera will probably end up going next week anyway where as I think Alien probably stood more of a chance of getting a rebound vote .

Simon was correct, the point of the sing-off is to show who's better at fighting for what they want and who can pull it off when it really matters, and that was of course Kiera tonight. I agree she needs real guidance but it doesn't seem clear what direction she needs to go in and that's what's difficult. I can see her maybe scraping through the rebound next week and going week 3 unless they really hit it.

Alien Unconvered were never going to connect; it's the right decision for them to go.

Boybands were struggling with the vote last year so a girlband like that didn't stand a chance.

I really quite liked them in principle, they're by far the best act I can remember who've been kicked out in week one.

The most cringe-worthy moment of the night goes to the promotion of 'Perfect' with Olly pointing out right after the performance that it was a One Direction song. Just awful :lol:
