Using this as the 3rd album thread now!

They've posted a teaser clip on their Facebook saying Friday 9th Sept!

OMFG! Album or single, I don't know. But I assume it'll be the single! Either way :yahoo:

Album seems to be called 'Night Driver'!

Here's the cover:

Beautiful

'Coming Home' has been added to Spotify so I assume it's being used as the first instant grat! :D

Have no idea why they've made it so difficult to search for their new music tho. Srsly, what's wrong with 'Busted' as a tag, like the rest of their music? 😬

?

I found it straight away on their Spotify under "busted"...

Yesterday it was listed as B.U.S.T.E.D. so they must have seen how that's not terribly search friendly and quickly changed it back

'On What You're On' is officially the first single to be taken from the album. As to when we'll hear it, I don't know. I wanna say it'll be this week as it'll have been two weeks since the album went up for pre-order, but we'll see!

'On What You're On' is now out there and it's VERY different to what we're used to with them! Think 'Can't Feel My Face' produced by Daft Punk (circa 'Get Lucky')

Very funky!

Just listened through this, and my first impression is, I like it. Nowhere near the level that I LOVE their first two albums, it's a lot synthier than you would've thought when it was announced they were working on a new album. I guess the whole McBusted album opened their eyes a little and showed them that sound isn't really working anymore, but I appreciate they've had to try and adapt to a changing market and the times etc..

I think once it's had time to settle, I'll enjoy it a lot more. Coz it is a very good pop album. Just not the classic Busted album people would probably expect.

This album is so good and it's also great that theyve managed to reinvent themselves so credible.
I really dont like the new song they did on X Factor, i found it didnt go anywhere but i hope it goes well for them as they have managed to comeback with a new sound.

I bought the white coloured signed vinyl of this (and regular signed CD) from their official site when it came out. Only in the last couple of weeks I've got round to listening to it. Think I was a bit hasty to write off the album on the basis of 'On What You're On', which has really grown on me with repeated listens. It's actually a really strong, melodic and quite mellow album on the whole. 'Thinking of You' is my favourite thus far.
Pretty pleased with that choice! Look forward to seeing the video :)

So...big announcement from the guys on a Facebook Live just now. They are playing a one off gig at the Royal Albert Hall on 17th October. Tickets go on sale this Friday I'm told!
