Mr 'Bo Selecta' Craig David has been steadily prepearing a comeback for the past few months now. He dropped a great mash up of his #1 hit Fill Me In with Where Are U Now on 1Xtra in September and now has returned with a first taster of his new album.

When The Bassline Drops sees a return to his champion Garage sound mixed with his smooth R&B vocals and features a verse from grime MC Big Narstie. Only a radio rip for now, but this has got me gassed for new material!

Wasn't expecting top 20 on iTunes! :cheer:

Apparently working with the likes of Chase & Status, Diplo, GoldLink & Kaytranada over his new material for next year.

I am loving this single at the moment...finally Mr David has returned to form! I was obsessed with the 'Born to Do It' album when it was released so I'm all over this.

I am so happy this is doing well. Its a complete surprise for me. I didn't know he was going to release anything.

I bought his first 4 albums and I really enjoyed them all.

This is holding up on iTunes much longer than I thought it would.

It's currently at No.33 and I think this is the start of its 3rd release week.

Finally got round to listening to this and it's phenomenal.

So old school and such a tune. I think the massively positive response to his performance on X Factor last night shows he actually could manage a massive comeback if they handled this correctly. I hope this kind of becomes a sleeper hit and continues to climb steadily, or at least stay around for a bit. Set him up in good stead to release another banger in a few months time and it blow up.

Yeah I'm fully expecting a huge comeback for him next year, everything seems to be pointing towards that.

Went to see Major Lazer a few weeks ago and when they brough him out then crowd went insaaane. The demand is clearly there, just needs the support now I guess.

And his X Factor appearance was of course the highlight of the whole series!

Have become fully obsessed with this song over the last couple of days - excellent to see it hot top 40 officially and now in the top 10 on itunes.

12 in the Official Chart now, surely only a matter of time before it goes top 10 officially?

This is such a good song!

Is the chorus about ejaculation?
