November 18, 201510 yr Odd to see Ed falling following the release of the new edition but I guess it's sales will be a lot higher than last week. It looks like he released it just in time otherwise X would have finally fallen out of the top ten this week.
November 18, 201510 yr where are Eagles of Death Metal? #51 Odd to see Ed falling following the release of the new edition but I guess it's sales will be a lot higher than last week. It looks like he released it just in time otherwise X would have finally fallen out of the top ten this week. I find it vaguely humorous that one of the very few weeks over the past year and a half where Ed and Sam have not been top 5 with their albums happen to be the weeks they both re-released. Mariah is 149. Edited November 18, 201510 yr by Joe.
November 18, 201510 yr Friday, you mean? Most streaming is added now, the main reason it's taken a dive is because about 10 Justin Bieber songs have overtaken it, it's actually looking to maybe get anew peak of #12, as it's now selling more than Sam Smith at #12. Oops, old habits die hard  well it would be great if it could get a new peak!
November 18, 201510 yr It's also worth pointing out that the missing streams will contribute to Justin's album equivalent sales (the missing iTunes update on Monday's update has obviously done him some good in today's update too). All signs point towards Justin snatching it, and if he doesn't sales will be achingly close, and I feel for whichever of the two doesn't get the victory. Both albums deserve it. Love Yourself will be at 3 on Friday. What Do You Mean? will be back at 4. Sax will drop to 5 and Take Me Home to 6... oops for Jess. A perfectly valid example to show how streaming sales have stopped the dropping of digital sales, but also a taster of how it is improving album sales. We should all be for this instead of bashing streaming; whether you like or hate the artist(s) it's affecting doesn't matter: it's helping the market, especially the singles one, a lot.

Indeed! Looks like deluxe editions have nowhere near the same impact they used to, both Sam's and Ed's look to add only around 6k to their usual weekly tally. Makes me wonder if Take That and Olly might 'only' go top 20 again with both of theirs next week. Then again, Sam's would have done better if Writing's On The Wall had been on it while Ed's also doesn't seem to have any sort of chosen single to support it (probably because the new songs are filler imo but hey ho) Edited November 18, 201510 yr by gooddelta

It looks like he released it just in time otherwise X would have finally fallen out of the top ten this week. Like Sam Smith, i expected the Ed Sheeran re-release to be much higher. One Direction will likely just about hold the number 1 by the skin of their teeth on what is also extremely disappointing sales. Ben Haenow will just about (i am hoping) stay top 10 and Kylie will drop and will be lucky to stay top 15 officially (judging by sales, even Kylie's hardcore fans are not supporting this release).
November 18, 201510 yr #44 yesterday and #51 today when it's climbed to #6 on iTunes? Yeah, because Saturday and Sunday's Spotify data was added, and ain't nobody streaming that song. It's totally stalled on iTunes now, anyway. It's chances of even being top 40 might be slim.

November 18, 201510 yr How far is Kylie in 11th from 10th? 1320 - It's not looking possible this week.
November 18, 201510 yr Kylie  That girl just can't get any luck these days. Hoping for Little Mix to get a new peak on Friday.
November 18, 201510 yr The Beatles will overtake Kylie and she's looking at a #12 debut. She still has plenty of time before Christmas to repeak, though. Ben will fall to #10 on Friday, and Andre Rieu will be 8 or 9, leaving Ed to the other position.
November 18, 201510 yr 1D sold 7.4k yesterday whereas JB sold 11.1k. Therefore Justin may have a chance of getting #1 - 1D are currently on track for 95k and JB is on track for 91k. Elvis will get #3 easily (outsold 1D too, with 9.1k yesterday). By the way, 'Love Me Like You' is still at #13; Anastacia's GH is holding up nicely at #19. Anastacia? Your answer was in that post above.
November 18, 201510 yr Singles 1 Justin Bieber - Sorry (66.3k) 2 Adele - Hello (59.7k) All over bar the shouting, then. Albums 1 One Direction - Made in the A.M. (80.7k) * 2 Justin Bieber - Purpose (68.9k) * OD's last album sold 141,796 1st wk, Bieber's just 38,115
November 18, 201510 yr Really hope Little Mix get a new peak this week  Where do you think Sax will end up this week? I'm hoping it can stay top 3 but I'd guess 4th or maybe 5th even :(
