yes Gotye's old songs are pretty good... don't think they tried very hard having a 2nd hit, kinda think they realised there was no hope, Easy Way Out is good but kinda anti-commercial... probably he's waiting and he's gonna do an Adele and come back and sell 1 million in a week any day now :) :D

He did have a follow-up, “Easy Way Out” (though weirdly I think that was out in the UK before “Somebody That I Used To Know” took off).

I thought 'Eyes Wide Open' was the follow up (in the UK, at least)? I seem to remember Radio 2 playlisting it and it denting the lower end on the iTunes Top 300 anyway!

Hearts a Mess is incredible!

Also where are all the Christmas releases this year?

There doesn't seem to be much competition for Xmas number one

 34. Pia Mia - Touch .... :cheer: so happy it's getting a second burst :cheer:

Mmm unless someone drops a big release shortly it's starting to look like TXF winner has an open goal. Surely Adele and Bieber won't be able to sustain this level of sales/streams.

25 Years & Years - Eyes Shut

do you guys think this could be top 10?

As much as I'd love it to I can't see it happening... It's A-list on Radio 1 but seems to have had minimal movement... Plus music video debuted what seems like a millennium ago.... I hope I'm wrong but can't see it :(

I think it will be #1 next week, especially with

Louisa Johnson performing it on X Factor this week

Really?! So it's a done deal. I'm shocked.. no video or even an announcement about single number 3 while Sorry is like his biggest hit yet... WOW.

Mariah must be near top 40 combined on iTunes now, when did she enter the top 40 last yr?

Must be a few that'll enter the top 200 this week.

There's a video that's getting good rotation on the music channels. I'm certain 'Love Yourself' will be too big of a hit to not call it a single tbh.

Love Yourself basically is a single - it's moving up to Capital's equivalent of the a-list which gives it up to about 75 plays per week :o
If it's a low selling year for the XF winner (I can't see it doing much on streams tbh unless it massively catches on), and its second week ends up at something like 80k then Bieber could steal Xmas #1 with Love Yourself on 45k sales and 45k streams or something. No doubt something else will turn up beforehand though like a charity single or god knows what else.
