I do find it amusing that P!nk has all these meaningful songs, beautiful lyrics, fun upbeat melodies a wonderful range... and then people can still class Lady Marmalade as her best moment?

I don't regard it as her *best* moment, but it's certainly within my personal Top 10 of P!nk's singles.

22. Most Girls | Can't Take Me Home

Average: 7.41

Highest Rates: 10: (Regina, Troublepink), 9.5/9: (HonkyBonkXMAS, Acidburn, Beatrix Kiddo, Lindsey, MIKEMYER, Riser), 8.5/8: (Alex, Ezra's Whore, UltraChristmas, T Boy, Jay, gooddelta, Liam, gooddelta, Vibe, Chapman, n4yr, bartsimpson, Noahspike)
Lowest Rates: 3 (dandy), 4/4.5: (Jark, Kylie Jackson)

At #22 we say goodbye to the last of her debut album singles Most Girls, released in September 2000 as the 2nd single from that album, and definitely stands as the strongest and most successful from her R&B period. A sequel of sorts to "TYG" and has a similar sound, but this has a better melody and a more edgier and memorable sound with tighter production. This almost ended up at the top 20, but had to settle for a #22 position in the end, due to the scores slowing down towards the end, for the best half of the scores this was at #18. The song became more successful than her debut in several countries such as the USA where it peaked at #4 and in the UK where it reached #5. Elsewhere it became her first chart topper in Australia and hit top 20 in Ireland. But not quite as successful elsewhere by charting in just 3 other countries, making top 40 in Belgium and Netherlands and making a minor dent in Sweden.

21. Bad Influence | Funhouse

Average: 7.426

Highest Rates: 11: (Iz), 10: (Ezra's Whore, Beatrix Kiddo, Viper, SeanGrey), 9.5/9: (Alex, UltraChristmas, T Boy, n4yr, Mr Pmt, Kylie Jackson)
Lowest Rates: 0: (Fgiboy2511), 3: (Noahspike)

At #21 is the wonderfully infectious Bad Influence, released in May 2009 as the 4th single from her 5th album Funhouse . This was an instant fave of mine when I first got the album and basically this is what she does best, celebrating her awesome sinful behaviour into a finely crafted rock anthem. It's a shame that this never had a music video, but the live performances are always a treat. It wasn't given a full worldwide release, which this would have been the perfect stop gap between "Please Don't Leave Me" and "Funhouse" in the UK. Released first in Australia where it reached #6 and elsewhere in 2010 where it reached top 20 peaks in New Zealand, Austria, top 30 in Germany, then charting in Swiss and Netherlands.

Here's what's to come in the top 20 from each era.

Missundaztood = 4/4

Try This = 2/4

I'm Not Dead = 4/6

Funhouse = 5/7

Greatest Hits So Far = 2/2

The Truth About Love = 3/5

The next one to drop will be a single from the "Funhouse" era, any thoughts.

Lady Marmalade is far far too low :(

Or not.

Glitter in the air is astonishingly low. :o

Bad Influence is one of my favourites. Glad to see Lady Marmalade low down, I don't rate it at all.

20. I Don't Believe You | Funhouse

Average: 7.45

Highest Rates: 11: (Riser, Liam), 10: (Nick F1, Ezra's Whore, Regina, Viper, n4yr), 9: (HonkyBonkXMAS, Mr Pmt, Noahspike)
Lowest Rates: 0 (Fgiboy2511), 4: (Mack)

At #20 is I Don't Believe You, released in October 2009 as the 6th single from her 5th album Funhouse. This marks as one of her most sombre ballads to date with an almost stripped back production and vulnerable vocals in a song that lyrically Pink pleads for a lover whose walking away from her and is cited as one of her favourite songs on the album. Even though Pink is mostly known for her brash tongue in cheek rock style, she does have another side to her and can churn out a heart felt ballad effectively in this beautiful number. Upon release it wasn't one of her biggest hits, especially in the UK where the physical release got cancelled and it ended up at #62, her lowest peak yet. Elsewhere it fared better by reaching top 20 in Sweden, Austria and Germany and top 40 peaks in Australia, Netherlands, Swiss and Denmark.

19. Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely) | I'm Not Dead

Average: 7.536

Highest Rates: 10: (Acidburn, T Boy, Jay, Viper), 9.5/9: (JosephStyles, Jonjuer East, gooddelta, Lindsey, Vibe, n4yr, bartsimpson), 8.5/8: (Alex, Nick F1, HonkyBonkXMAS, Iz, Ezra's Whore, UltraChristmas, Simon, Mackensie, Chapman, Troublepink, MIKEMYER, dandy, Jark, Riser)
Lowest Rates: -1: (Mr Pmt), 3: (Chez Wombat)

At #19 is one of my personal faves Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely), released in March 2007 as the 6th and final single from her 4th album I'm Not Dead. It definitely ranks as one of her most catchiest moments yet and it's often compared to The Go Go's and Tiffany. The song itself is just fun and what you'd expect from Pink, pure sassiness with a clever hook and pure pop rock at it's best. The song was only given a limited worldwide release, but became a smash hit in both Australia and New Zealand by reaching #5, as well as reaching top 20 in Slovakia. In the UK it was released as a double a-side with "Dear Mr President" as a download only EP where it peaked at #34 and managed a healthy chart run with 15 weeks inside the UK Top 75 and outselling her previous single "NK" which had a higher peak of #27, and reports say that if it got a proper release then it would have made top 10.

:o

Both of those are far too low.

I can't stand 'Leave Me Alone', for me it's the worst thing she's done.

Reflecting on earlier, 'Last To Know' is really underappreciated. :( Although I entirely expected it.

I think this is possibly your worst "out there" opinion to date. :( ( :kink: )

It's one I've held since I first heard it on I'm Not Dead, I was mortified when it was announced as a single.

Go away, come back, I wish you knew the difference :music:

I think I'd position it 6th or 7th in my favourite P!nk singles. Sooo good on tour!

No P!nk singles particularly grate on me, but 'Funhouse' (the song) is definitely one of my least favourites. The 'Try This' singles were a bit average for me, but inoffensively so.

Agreed. Dire song. IND is one of my favourite albums of all time, but this horror kind of ruins it.
