... is nothing like anything else in the chart right now.

I think that's stretching it a bit, but it's catchy and inoffensive enough to get to number one, lord knows there's been a lot worse. It's a bit of a 4 out of 10 song for me.

Can 'Secret Love Song' get top 10 after 'All My Friends' please, so it has one last track to overcome? Although the way it's looking, that is looking unlikely as LM are storming up so fast right now.

I can't think of another song in the top 40 that it sounds like? Not saying it's groundbreaking but right now it sticks out.

Craig David's label should pull all the stops and continue promoting it! Otherwise it's going to be quite a big non-top-40 hit, and it could be a much bigger top-20 at least.
I'm fully behind Secret love song smashing, such a great song. The 3 singles off this album from Little Mix have been perfect choices, round it off with Weird people for the 4th single with a crazy old school 80's video and it will be the perfect era.
Secret Love Song is stunning, honestly not far off Black Magic for me which I didn't think would happen! It just keeps growing and I haven't tired of it one bit since the album release, I'm thrilled it's already slaying like this <3

1179. Zara Larsson - Lush Life

I'm confused as to why this is showing up as I thought pre-orders weren't showing up in the chart? I'm also disappointed to see it so low.

 As much as I love little mix and would love SLS to get number 1 and do well I don't think performing it at the bits will help it achieve it because ADELE is performing

I think their best shot would be the week before even a long running top 10/20 would be fantatic like LMLY

As far as I know they don't appear only on the album chart.

I thought all single pre-orders had disappeared also :o

All My Friends climbing rapidly now, 13 and bright green on Kworb, but the gap between AMF and WDYM? is still quite large so it could be a while before AMF hits the top 10.

Also Light It Up and Renegades climbing fast now :o

They are still there, just they are not relevant anymore. Lethal Bizzle and Lady Leshurr made it to the top 200 before it was released, but I guess Apple will remove the singles pre-orders from the chart shortly too. Has no sense to keep them anyway.

That is all matter of opinion and personal taste though. The fact it is so high on iTunes clearly shows a lot of people do think it is a strong pop song, including myself.

Of course. Who said it was a fact?

I can't see "Secret Love Song" going to #1, but think it has a good chance of being a long-lasting top 5 hit.

Craig David - "When The Baseline Drops" to #21. BBC Radio 1 play helping this to rise more now! Would love it if it became a top 10 hit eventually.

I'd love that too - after being a strong top 30 song for over a month now on iTunes it needs to hit the top 10

but with Capital playing it now sometimes and R1 playlisting it surely thats the push it needed.. although I thought it would go top 10 after his performance w/ Reggie and Bollie on the X Factor but unfortunately that wasn't to be

 29. Ellie Goulding - Army

It started off slower than I think anyone thought it would (considering the amount of exposure) but it certainly leaped up quickly in the last 48 hours, even if it's beginning to drop now. Either way, a bit of a meh chart performance considering her profile and the fact that the song isn't completely and utterly dreadful

It's a bit early to write off Ellie's single, surely?

I think it's doing fine considering the album and start to the era have pretty much had a muted reception, to me that sort of thing usually spells a second single struggling for top 40.

Plus 'Army' isn't exactly the best choice when she has 'Something In The Way You Move' which has bags more potential, but I can see why they're going with it.

Army's playlisting from Radio 1 doesn't even kick in til Monday so for it to be that high already is solid.
