This is a very heartfelt and downtempo track amongst my entries here, worth the attempt I thought as it had emotional value but it ended up not being very well regarded and soon got more or less forgot about in the large canon of Danæviia entries. It would probably sit in the lower quarter of my all time rank for it not being an upbeat track.

One of the rare trance winners of BJSC which I really ought to have given my max points. This was also the contest with one of Ethanola's most infamous entries (a 10 minute techno instrumental) and one of Illenium's best works.

This happened to be my lowest SF position ever and I'm still not entirely sure what went so wrong here as it is truly brilliant. One of the more upbeat and interesting tracks of the tropical house era, and had a lot more thought put into it than what he's doing now.

Well it was the first of the two occasions I got to use Avicii in a contest, and as the 'single that got away' from the True era this felt like the best track to go with. It still holds up as one of his all-time best today. I do wonder if it'd have done much better or worse if I was brave enough to send the 8 minute long album version though. I did feel it a shame for it to just miss out on the top 20 when it was more deserving of it than a good few of my previous top 20 finishers, but I'd eventually get Avicii a bigger contest hit.

This always remained brilliant and given its performance it was odd that it didn't occur to me to send it much earlier, having discovered it off of Radio 1's Dance Anthems years prior, but we were out of ideas for new songs to enter this month. A great stabby piano and some production eerily reminiscent of Seek Bromance helped it on its way to 3rd in the final, a joint personal best position-wise.

A brilliant trance track, the first one that made me really take notice of Aly & Fila with it being a really energetic trance track. Susana gives a very emotive vocal performance even with the lyrics being in Spanish and the build pays off in just the way you want it to. It is a track that did deserve better than it got in the contest but BJSC would make up for it later.

So here we are with the biggest entry I ever did send. Yes I did have three winners but this one got a lot more points than my other two. Whilst not being my absolute favourite of my entries, I am very happy to have this as my first and biggest winner. Helped by being a very emotional trance track and alongside a captivating music video too - it is melodic festival ready trance at its very best. Gareth Emery soon became one of my all-time favourite producers but this will always stand out as one of his very best.
