This is a really excellent album, a huge step up from Kiss Me Once in every way possible.

 

So cohesive and well thought out, I love the production and the melodies are huge. Dancing, Stop Me From Falling and Raining Glitter are all better than anything she's put out since Aphrodite for me. And there are so many other fantastic album highlights too - Lost Without You and Music's Too Sad Without You are my early highlights.

 

Only Every Little Part Of Me sticks out like a sore thumb for me. I don't dislike it by any means, but it's as if it was meant to be an "Any producer of generic Spotify filler feat Kylie" single and got lost somewhere in the process and ended up on Golden by mistake.

My favourite tune today from nowhere after the first listen is............ LOVE

 

 

Golden currently 2nd on Itunes worldwide chart and 14th in Apple Music streaming worldwide up 12 places.

The One Show gets 4 million viewers and she is on at 7pm tonight. Not sure she is singing but if not the videos will be played etc

We could see SMFF and Dancing both well inside the ITunes top 20 and Golden back at number 1 in iTunes Albums.

 

Can she get 40,000 sales in week one? would be great if she could.

Her official store added 1,000 signed Golden cassettes, but they've already sold out! Unsigned versions are still available though. The standard CD is now on the store too, and a new t-shirt.

One of my fave moments on the album rn is the way she growls like a dragon after the Dragon line in Lifetime to Repair :lol: it's adorable.

33.7 sales so far and sitting at the top of the charts.

 

With promotion coming, I would assume she can sell a further 10,000 copies through the week and manage even a small number of streams.

they must have done another run of 4,000 cassettes..... and just in case they thought they may not sell them they did 1,000 signed to make sure they did. Clever :)

In a news article on the midweeks OCC comfirm she will be nbr 1 come friday 😍

The breakdown of the sales doesnt mention cassette sales.

 

Her digital sales are much higher than i thought they would be.

She roughly done another 2700 sales yday, if she can do 2000 a day for week she would end up on almost 42,000.

She got the cassette promo in, dancing promo in, tour promo, Golden promo, and singing stop me from falling. Good girl. Very good promo. Looks great on One Show too!
