BMG are confident and obviously know how many pre-orders they have in the bag no doubt to start mentioning biggest first week sales etc......

 

I think you will be surprised by her numbers.... she has had it on pre-sale for over 2 months...... all those different formats, plus the downloads to get the special codes for the concerts etc......

 

I am going for 30k+

 

 

on a separate note..... Elton John is releasing the same week as Kylie! ..... other artists covering his songs......... does it count or is it on compilations chart?

I guess it remains to be seen how the OCC treats that album, but it comes across like it's a compilation album?

I would have thought the two Elton albums would appear on the compilation chart considering it doesn't seem he'll feature on the tracks.

 

This is what I could find from the OCC about what qualifies for the album chart and compilation chart:

 

3. Compilation Album Chart Includes original soundtracks unless all tracks feature the same artist, multi orchestral recordings, and “1 artist per side” albums (if not new)

4. Artist Album Chart includes single artist compilations, original cast recordings, original cast performance soundtracks and single orchestra recordings

Is Raining Glitter being released.............

That’s strange because plenty of soundtracks have been on the official chart, Grease, The bodyguard, Saturday night fever, The sound of music, The greatest showman all massive #1 albums on the official chart...

 

Elton John’s should surely be a compilation in the likes of a Now album... although it is a compilation of songs by the same artist which is different from any other compilation I’ve known?

Someone tweeted Sigala and asked oif we would still here the Kylif track and he replied with a smile fsce still working on it

I’m so underwhelmed by this era so far. I like both Dancing and Stop Me From Falling, but I don’t love them. Haven’t preordered the album yet, but will have a listen first.

Golden and Radio On are brilliant. Evening Raining Glitter is casting a spell over me.

 

 

Still worried Greatest Showman may well keep her off top..... Streaming points huge
