That is her top 30 position for this week most likely gone out the window.

That said, Top 40 should be very safe for Golden for this week at the least.

By the look of things I guess Gold will be her best shot as platinum seems so far out of reach even with a re edition by the end of the year...

I never really expected platinum,I was hoping for gold which it will easily manage but I thought if it can outsell Kylie Christmas it would be a great result.

I'm really happy with gold. If it can pass 150k in total I'll be ecstatic.

I'd be over the moon with 150,000 as it would be good for Kylie plus almost double the sales of kiss me once.

If the Sigala duet with some luck turned into a big hit it would boost the album plus I'd love to see Kylie back in the top 20 in the singles chart or a top 10 would be brill but I know it's wishful thinking.

I think if Sigala can get Paloma Faith back into the top 10, I don't see why he can't with Kylie given they're in a roughly similar position in those aspects.

She has a lot more promo coming don't worry for the whole year.

 

There are a lot of discounted albums at 4.99 selling she would do the same if at that price etc but no need to yet.

 

Kylie sells off TV promo stuff... She has tour, festivals , Xmas shows etc etc . You can't expect her to swell loads when no promo etc. As long as it keeps ticking over. Look at all the new albums out on the last two months and she is still top 40

I know it’s a big if at the moment as we haven’t heard it but if the Sigala track takes off that could really push Kylie into the minds of lapsed fans and general public and give ‘Golden’ a whole new lease of life - especially if it does become a big hit and is added to an expanded edition of the album.

Can I just re-iterate that we don't even know if the Sigala song is a single.

Obviously I was speaking on the premise of it being a fully serviced single. I am aware it's not a certainty.

Golden should end the week no lower than top 35.
