The decline has slowed down today which is something, Top 60 looks possible now.

I did mention this in a previous post but its only in the last 2 weeks i have discovered that streaming is having such an affect on the album chart, this was oblivious to me until then.

you cannot expect her to keep being top 40 in charts! so many new releases each week, festivals on TV etc, price reductions, different shops selling different offers, vinyl re-releases etc.

She has sold 100k and has the successful album in the bag.

the albums like Camila Cabello, Taylor, Paloma all yo-yo on promo etc.

+ the difference in 30 chart places could be as low as 2000 sales etc. all very tight.

I totally understand all this, my point was it is disappointing that after a relatively very steady chart run its sharp decline this week is disappointing.

New releases, cheap albums etc is a weekly occurrence on the chart and maybe its time Golden joins the list on reduced price, selling offers etc to keep momentum in the album for now until promotion kicks in.

I in large agree, Golden can now be seen as a successful album and campaign but the more sales and longer chart run, the better it is.

Yes the more sales the better as I really want it to sell at least another 50,000.

I know it's different times and she has passed her peak and I am in no way doubting golden has been successful it's still her 3rd lowest selling studio album with ip and kmo the 2 lagging behind it.

Seems likely we'll get the likes of 'Put Yourself in My Place' and 'Breathe' returning to her tour. I also really like the rendition of 'The One' she does so I hope that version appears on tour.

You can see a lot of the performances here.

So good to see Put Yourself in My Place and Breathe returning to her tour especially Breathe.

Islands in the Stream is likely the cover she will stock to throughout the tour.

It is disappointing that there is no Music's Too Sad Without You, i really thought it would have fitted great on the setlist and if Jack wasn't available she could have drafted in another male singer.

66 is fine.

it will be up and down as promo is and isn't available.

rather have it bigger impact on some weeks. Bet there is not many sales from 20-100 etc.

its 28 on the sales chart and doing fine..... the streaming is non-existent. and that's our faults because you all play your CDs and vinyls instead of putting it on Spotify.

Awful result for this week.

Didnt foresee a further 9 place drop from yesterday.

It will pick up again when further promo kicks in.

It would be ideal if the album can keep a show inside the door on the chart until then to build up sales in low numbers.

Christina Aguilera fell from 17 to 95 this week, so Kylie is doing amazingly well.

This! That’s why I always make sure I stream Kylie’s music regardless of any other formats I have it on - I always want to be contributing in some form to extra sales.
