I don't care if this makes me look like an arsehole but I usually hold my tongue on this forum and just go along with things but this has been a gigantic joke from the mods. The complete lack of communication, the delays, that need for every single mod to OK the list when it's so difficult for all of them to be online to do this, the mixed messages sent to everyone, the veto furore. I say this because I love the contest dearly but it's been a shambles from everyone BUT the host here and I felt the need to say something in case anyone thinks it's the host's fault because he had everything ready to go exactly on schedule so it's unfair on him more than anyone else. I highly doubt there would even be an apology made to him either but oh well ~

I definitely agree that comminication presents a bit of issue in the BJSC environment :(

well said Haus but I think everyone knows we are still waiting on the mods? at least that's what I gathered. Patrick has made it clear more than once that he is ready to go once he gets the okay. I mean for what it's worth he had everything done right down to the deadline so he gets no complaints from me :oK:

I totally agree with Ball and I've not really wanted to say it before for fear of being shot down lol. The delays have been slightly crazy this month, for one reason or another. I do think having to get all mods to individually sign off the final list is a waste of time though and that seems to be what delays it half the time, if I'm not mistaken? The delays in BJSC in general make it quite tiresome (hasn't this CRC been "in the works" for 2 years or something??). I know everyone has lives but I feel like at times it's a case of people wanting to have their cake, and eat it.

Your comments have been noted and some procedural changes have already been discussed that will take effect from next month which should speed up the process and make things run a little smoother. There will be more changes made in the coming days as well which we hope will ensure we work like clockwork.
