February 2, 20169 yr Oh Spadam, spare a thought for me, I had both Monody AND Outsiders on my awareness list. Literal no-win scenario. Unless I'm in fact not overrating my song but underrating it. It's very weird for me, Outsiders is a track that I listen to a lot, played it on Dub frequently and never once have I thought oh this might be good for BJSC (not that I'm saying it's not as going by these predicts it really is!) and usually that's something I think of when I hear new music now, maybe it's just because of Paralyzed being entered previously or I've just listened to Against The Current that much I've stopped thinking of them as being 'undiscovered' etc   Two of us guilty of Seyetana recycling this month though :kink:
February 2, 20169 yr I don't think I'd have thought to actually ENTER Outsiders because I'm sworn off self-recycling after the only two times I tried it it ended in failure, so it's not quite as bad on that front as Monody, which I was really thinking about entering, it was just on my radar because I'm a fan of the band, but Against The Current winning when Paralyzed was a serious contender and I think got quite unlucky to finish as low as it did would be quite the blow for me. Probably the same for Rob with Allie X and Tim with TheFatRat actually. And I know! It really doesn't happen that often for me, I think San Fermin was the only time it happened all of last year, seeing two in the same contest is quite a lovely vindication of my taste (besides what I said above).
February 2, 20169 yr So shady you guys  But formulaic isn't necessarily a bad thing, I think BLEITCH is actually pretty good as far as songs like that go :kink:Â I wanna agree with Seven but there's NO WAY Great Good Fine OK will flop. ^_^ ^_^ (but tbh given my odds for GGFO are meant to reflect its chances of winning, even then I may have been too generous x)Â
