I don't think it will be #1! MAYBE a #3 and then the weekend effect will work against it. I think it could go to #2 next week in iTunes but still it's not certain.

49 Tobtok Fast Car (feat. River) :arrowup:

37

Rachel Platten - Stand By You

finally happening??

Marcus Butler feat Conor Maynard - I'm Famous

Will this do better than Wanna Do did? I'm honestly not sure.

Seems to be outperforming Conor's last single (Royalty) at any rate!

*edit - WHOA, where did that jump for 'Stand By You' come from? :o :wub:

I assume she performed on something this morning? I'm not against it doing well though, hopefully it can keep up the momentum! :D

I think she was on one of the morning shows, she's also on Graham Norton tonight I think.

What's with all these big sudden jumps? :blink: (not that i'm complaining)

4. Jonas Blue - Fast Car (feat. Dakota) (+8.00)

14. Elle King - Ex's and Oh's (+5.00)

37. Rachel Platten - Stand By You (+7.00)

40. Rachel Platten - Fight Song (+5.00)

And also these have climbed out of nowhere:

45. Lukas Graham - 7 Years (+3.00)

50. Tobtok - Fast Car (feat. River) {NEW}

62. Sam Hunt - Take Your Time (+3.00)

83. Riton - Rinse & Repeat (feat. Kah-Lo) [Radio Edit] {NEW}

There seems to be LOADS of songs fighting to enter the top 10 this week!

Low sales on itunes and new music being rotated higher at radio so there more fluidity in the chart i think. Rachel is over doing promo here also.

Has Fast Car had huge leaps this week due to the video or something, i know its radio plays arent huge yet?!

OMG SAM HUNT WHAT

HIT PLEASE <3 I think that or Break Up In A Small Town could easily break country into the UK, they've got a slight R&B hip-hop twist.

Can people stop streaming all the Hellos, What Do You Means, Can't Feel My Faces and Never Forget Yous so that the chart can catch up and actually reflect the popularity of these new tracks please?

7 Years by Lukas Graham is #45 on iTunes and Spotify.

It is going to fight for a top 40 place next Friday. :yahoo:

the music guest tonight @ Graham Norton is Ellie King not Rachel Platten

Is this being played on the radio? It seems to be climbing quite a bit recently, I wonder if a station Heart has got onboard with it early? (its impact isn't due until mid March so I'd imagine it'll be a few weeks before Radio 1 jumps on board - if they do)

Thank God! :yahoo: ;)

I'm all for a more fluid chart, but all the songs you've listed are still more popular than these new ones coming up. :lol:

The impact Rachel has had from performing Stand By You on Lorraine! Top 40 for both Stand By You and Fight Song while the album has a new peak of 27 on iTunes
