February 8, 20169 yr Author I also think Ben's version is better! I do enjoy a few of 1R's singles on the whole though. Very good song :D Yeah, shame Second Hand Heart was a crap sequel.
February 8, 20169 yr I find Sia totally overrated, the songs she writes for other people are much better than the stuff she brings out on her own. I find "Elastic Heart" very dull and forgettable, there's just no spark to it. I honestly don't see what all the fuss is about with her, the only song of her's I found half decent was "Titanium" with David Guetta, apart from that everything else is just generic and bland. Years & Years, I really like them and "King" was one of my faves from last year. One Direction, I've always liked them, I don't care what anyone says, they've had some brilliant pop tracks over the last couple of years, and "Perfect" was brilliant as was "Drag Me Down", I really liked the move forward with their sound, and I agree about "History", I'm not keen on that either, I wish that "What A Feeling" got a release as well.

Thanks for the comment :D Quite like What A Feeling on first listen.
February 9, 20169 yr Author 85. Years and Years - Shine Chart peak- 2 hXTAn4ELEwM The fantastic vocals on this by Olly Alexander never fail to send a shiver down my spine - this is a great track with a beautiful message and chorus and it would almost certainly be considerably higher in my countdown had it not been killed by the Talk Talk adverts after the X-Factor. Such a shame this didn't reach number one.
February 9, 20169 yr Shame to see Drake & Naughty Boy gone early, but can't argue with the rest! Intrigued to see what's around the top. So many of my 2015 favourites haven't appeared yet.

February 9, 20169 yr Shine missed number one simply because some people can't differentiate a Z from a B. One of my favourites tracks of 2015. Why is it so low?
February 9, 20169 yr Author Countdown temporarily on hold while I regather my spreadsheet as I sorted it and it autosaved so I can't undo.

February 9, 20169 yr Author 84. Natalie La Rose ft. Jeremih - Somebody Chart peak- 2 8zqdo_Umd5c A good song by a really good artist, this catchy chilled number from Natalie was a real favourite of mine for a while last year. She's a great singer and I was surprised on recent inspection that this reached number two - so close to number one! The rap from Jeremih was good as expected, coming off the back of Don't Tell Em', there were high expectations from me.
February 9, 20169 yr Author 83. Justin Bieber - What Do You Mean? Chart peak- 1 DK_0jXPuIr0 He's here - finally. The first of four entries from the Canadian superstar, this song was really good at first, but it got irritating eventually. I was liking the chilled vibe to this and the his mellow but addicting vocals, certainly a changed man - in terms of music, that is. I wouldn't say this is completely deserved of its mammoth 20+ week top 10 run, though. Fair play, Justin. Edited February 9, 20169 yr by mdh
February 9, 20169 yr Author 82. Fifth Harmony ft. Kid Ink - Worth It Chart peak- 3 YBHQbu5rbdQ You know one of those songs that you pretend to hate like everyone else but actually love? This is one. It's a great track by a really talented group and the lyrics to this were so catchy. The drop in the chorus made this even better, such a good move to include a slightly irritating but still loveable trumpet drop. If there hadn't had been loads of new entries in the chart in it's debut week, it could've made number one.
February 9, 20169 yr Reading this is getting a bit painful. "Let It Go" (James Blegh) and "Something I Need" (Ben Whonow) being good? No baby no On "Worth It": If there hadn't had been loads of new entries in the chart in it's debut week, it could've made number one.[/size]THIS. A MILLION TIMES.
February 9, 20169 yr Agreeing with the last few there. Apart from WDYM. I would place it a fair bit higher ;) :music:
February 10, 20169 yr Author Worthless :puke: no thanks~ Sir Newman CBE deserves higher :( Blame is pretty high, if that's any consolation. oops nvm wrong year Edited February 10, 20169 yr by mdh
