Biography

Justin Drew Bieber (/ˈbiːbər/; born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. Bieber's current manager, Scooter Braun, first discovered him through his YouTube videos in 2007. Braun, as noted, was impressed with the videos resulting in contacting Bieber's mother, Patricia Mallette, about wanting to work with his musical abilities. Biography

Major Lazer is an electronic music project created by American DJ and record producer Diplo initially collaborating with English DJ/producer Switch. The two parted ways in late 2011. Diplo has since enlisted producers/DJs Jillionaire and Walshy Fire (of Black Chiney) to help with the production and live shows. Their music spans numerous genres, usually fusing reggae and dancehall music with dance genres such as moombahton and electro house.

 

Major Lazer have released two full length albums – Guns Don't Kill People... Lazers Do and Free the Universe, released in 2009 and 2013 respectively. They released an EP entitled Apocalypse Soon in March 2014, which featured vocal contributions from Pharrell Williams and Sean Paul. So glad What Do You Mean is gone from the top 10, even if it's more bearable for me than his other two songs still in there! :P

The original Light It Up is awful, good that they did a remix of it, much more radio friendly and fun to listen to :D
