The U.K. producers, Oliver Lee and James Carter, gained gradual notice across 2012, 2013, and 2014 with remixes of tracks by Willie Hale ("Groove On"), Wild Belle ("It's Too Late"), Bondax ("Gold"), Banks ("Warm Water"), and the Weeknd ("Wanderlust"). They also released a couple of their own light and shimmering singles. The first proper Snakehips release, 2013's "On & On" -- featuring Australian singer/songwriter George Maple -- was released on Hoffman West as a 12" limited to 250 copies and as a digital download. The bouncier second single, 2014's "Days with You," was fronted by Sinead Harnett (Disclosure's "Boiling," Rudimental's "Hide" and "Baby"). - iTunes Chart history - Top 100 (Year peak title): Snakehips 2015 05 All My Friends (Snakehips Feat. Bieber's current manager, Scooter Braun, first discovered him through his YouTube videos in 2007. Braun, as noted, was impressed with the videos resulting in contacting Bieber's mother, Patricia Mallette, about wanting to work with his musical abilities. Moreover, him having convinced his mother, Braun arranged for Bieber to meet with singer-songwriter, Usher, in Atlanta, Georgia. As a result, Bieber was signed to RBMG, a record label based in Atlanta, then to Island Records -- part of Def Jam Records -- with a recording contract offered by a prominent record executive, L.A. Reid. He released his debut EP, My World, in November 2009. It has been certified platinum in the United States. He became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Bieber released his first full-length studio album, My World 2.0, in March 2010. It debuted at or near number one in several countries and was certified platinum in the United States. It was preceded by the single, "Baby", which is also, as of July 2014, the YouTube video with the most dislikes, and the most views on a Vevo platform. He followed up the release of his debut album with his first headlining tour, the My World Tour, the remix album titled, My Worlds Acoustic, and Never Say Never – The Remixes, and the 3D biopic-concert film Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. Bieber released his second studio album, Under the Mistletoe, in November 2011 when it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Bieber released his third studio album, Believe, in June 2012. He has received numerous industry awards, including both Artist of the Year Awards at the 2010 American Music Awards, and the 2012 American Music Awards. He has been nominated for Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album at the 53rd Grammy Awards. With his growing national and international fan base, they have been dubbed "beliebers" who largely consist of early to mid-adolescent women. He has millions of "followers" on Twitter and other social media accounts. He has been listed three times by Forbes magazine as one of the top ten most powerful celebrities in the world in 2011, 2012, and 2013. - Wikipedia Chart history - Top 100 (Year peak title): 2010 11 One Time -1- 2010 71 Love Me -PS- 2010 62 One Less Lonely Girl -2- 2010 76 Favorite Girl -PS- 2010 03 Baby (Justin Bieber Feat. February 5, 201610 yr "Anti" - Rihanna at 7 SHOCKER ! It has just been put of Spotify and the CD released, I expect her to be top 3 this week maybe even #1 if her streaming numbers are as big as I expect them to be.
February 5, 201610 yr It is nice seeing Bieber finally falling away a bit, it was mainly due to him that it felt like I was listening to the same ten songs in the top 10 for months on end.
February 5, 201610 yr Yes, it deserves a lot better, one of their best Albums I did expect it though, or to maybe fall out of the top 10. Their last album went 10-40. I'm a little bit peeved about Sia being just #3 in the end, although I know that's still a good result.
February 5, 201610 yr This Is Acting is at #3 :( On the brightside, this means David Bowie has become the first to knock himself off number one in the Album Chart since The Essential Michael Jackson knocked Number Ones (also by Michael Jackson) off number one in 2009. He's also the first artist since Adele (with 21 and 19) to occupy both #1 and #2 in the album chart.
February 5, 201610 yr 06 24 02 Lukas Graham 7 Years Lukas Graham | 2015 http://a4.mzstatic.com/eu/r30/Music6/v4/18/af/71/18af71aa-d835-1902-bc1c-6300d62aad91/cover170x170.jpeg Chart Run: 24-6 Release date: 22-10-2015 Format: digital single Label: Warner Bros. Chart sales: 50k+ Sales only chart peak: 21 Streaming only chart peak: 32 Video here: LHCob76kigA Biography From the free-living enclave of Christiania in Copenhagen, Lukas Graham and his boys -- Mark "Lovestick" Falgren on drums, Kasper Daugaard on keys, and Magnus "Magnum" Larsson on bass -- crafted a combination of funky pop and R&B stylings, which made them popular in their home country of Denmark. With his soulful delivery and honest lyrics, Graham recounted tales of family strife, poor decisions, and the celebration of life, all inextricably entwined with his years spent in Christiania. The young Graham's musical influences ranged from classical -- gained during his childhood experiences with the Copenhagen Boys' Choir -- to the Beatles and the Stones, as well as the Prodigy and Dr. Dre, whose Chronic 2001 was one of the most influential albums for Graham. Despite a less-privileged childhood, his parents were strong role models and much of that love was reflected in his heartfelt songs, like "Mama Said," "7 Years," and "Moving Alone." In early 2012, he released his first album, a self-titled effort that included "Drunk in the Morning," which went on to become a hit throughout Europe. Once they received more international exposure, they were signed to Warner Bros. Records in 2013. A second self-titled album -- nicknamed the "Blue Album" -- was released in late 2015. - iTunes Chart history - Top 100 (Year peak title): 2015 06 7 Years -1-
