February 9, 20169 yr So Farahtyn are the first hosts to announce their own DNQ? (Even if it's just RE:LOADED)

February 9, 20169 yr Author So Farahtyn are the first hosts to announce their own DNQ? (Even if it's just RE:LOADED) I am not sure, if so, another failure to add to my list of achievements.
February 9, 20169 yr So Farahtyn are the first hosts to announce their own DNQ? (Even if it's just RE:LOADED) Ashton TBO1!
February 9, 20169 yr That is heartbreaking, one of my all time favourite entries! Gutted, the Mira curse strikes again! She's been a tarnished brand since Headhunted :drama: Didn't realise you hadn't voted Phil! :o
February 9, 20169 yr Author How do I post the list of DNQ's? Do I post the countries and their points, then the next level points?
February 9, 20169 yr Shame, but not totally unprecedented for Mine All Mine, that sort of thing would never come third today. Headhunted is probably going to do way better in Reloaded X though. Nice to see Maroon 5 out, even if I like the song, good to see that not everything that was a UK hit/contains a big name like Rihanna automatically attracting tons of points in these contests. now do the same for all the cheap stuff in the final :hitler:
February 9, 20169 yr How do I post the list of DNQ's? Do I post the countries and their points, then the next level points? Countries that DNQd and their points can be posted. Then only the points total for whoever the lowest qualifier was.
February 9, 20169 yr I guess it was very 'of its time', riding the 2008 soul pop sound wave and Maria's goodwill from Eurovision the month before. So without those factors to bump it up it was rather exposed. Oh well, Believe Again went 17-1 in the first Reloaded so this reversal is fair enough too.

She's been a tarnished brand since Headhunted :drama: Didn't realise you hadn't voted Phil! :oI just forgot  I'm gutted as Mine All Mine is one of my favourite BJSC discoveries still. Shame, but not totally unprecedented for Mine All Mine, that sort of thing would never come third today.Which is a shame because things like Mine All Mine are exactly what this contest is built on. The success of Mine All Mine, and others in it's vein are the reason that BJSC still exists today. They really helped to attract people to the contest looking for new music rather than a rerun of the chart and sometimes it's important to remember in Re:LOADED that some of these big hits were hideously cheap entries even back in the early contests and should rightfully be shunned now.
February 9, 20169 yr Author Semi Final 2 Qualifier 13 29 Bhangra - Dima Bilan - Lady Flame 23 FSR Rontvia - Maria Haukaas Storeng ft. February 9, 20169 yr Can't believe Colour Me Dirty made it. I'm sooooooo pleased for it. If we could match our result from the initial contest then that would be as amazing as it was to even get there back then.

Oh agreed, I gave 3 points to Mine All Mine. I guess you could also make the case for Can't Let Go, Hold The Line and Colour Me Dirty being among those inspired hits. And possibly Gaga (not Katy Perry, because of timing) at the time, I have no knowledge of how much the average person would have known about Gaga in June 2008 but to be totally fair, even though I really don't want to see it do well here, it seems less worse than someone entering Kylie, Rachel Stevens, Sophie Ellis-Bextor or Avril Lavigne. The point really isn't to bump up your well-known favourites here.
February 9, 20169 yr Lmao poor poor Alisha Bennett. Such a bizarre entry choice though! Not even particularly the fact it's an X Factor performance, it's just such a nothingy one.
February 9, 20169 yr Author For the stats nerds, how are ties split in the semi final? Is it by the number of voters?
