I'm glad Barbara's acting is back up to scratch, remember that awful panto performance just before Phil and Sharon's wedding. The scen where she saw the family and was gently chuckling reminded me of my great grandmother in the last few years of her life.

Apparently some of the boat scenes in tonight's episodes were improvised from Steve and Barbara. It has the potential to end up sounding contrived, but I have faith in Steve especially to make it sound genuine and heart-breaking: http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/eastenders...ls-boat-scenes/

Belinda is gonna steal the show.

Definitely! Fantastic casting and I hope she's in it for the long run.

Oh my god Belinda is amazing! New fave. If she isn't promoted to regular promptly, I am done.

Also, still screaming at Sonia's boob-gate. I know it's meant to be funny but omg

Sonia is such a crap character, it makes us laugh.

According to wiki she is regular

That boat scene was emotional

Such lovely scenes bettween Steve + Barbara

Sonia talking about her boobs again...I mean, it's not a subject which should be making you laugh but Natalie Cassidy has the acting abilities of a pineapple. Truly awful.

Shirley, Sharon + Kathy were amazing. Full of humour and lovely reminiscing about Peggy.

The best news coming out of this episode? It looks like Belinda is now a regular

Edited by jase.

That awful cake by Shirley was the highlight of last night's episode  can we have an Eastenders Bake Off please  :D

Friday's episode was really powerful. Peggy is such an institution, but the way they're playing it, it's more than that. It's about "FAMILY" and how you all rally round/cope in difficult times. It's being played very realistically and very beautifully.

Disappointed to see that Peggy's time is very nearly over but looking forward to watching.

Anyone remember this with Peggy and Pat:

Omg this  I loved this moment

Would you say Steve McFadden is the best actor at playing drunk?

This is why:
