I know Ian's a twat and all but how annoying would it be for your main support to be Kathy? 'We'll make it work' and 'we just will' my goodness, her resurrection was worth it for all these sage words of wisdom.

I hope the new EP does something with Kathy. Her being eased in quietly had some benefits but it's been over half a year since returning to the square now.

Being a waiter myself, I had to laugh at that customer thinking 30 minutes was a long time to wait for food, despite the restaurant being packed.

Even more boundary-breaking and some controversy there.

It's not as bad as it could be, they aren't blood related, so it's not "morally" wrong as unlike incest the baby doesn't have the risk of defects, but it is socially deviant I suppose because to all intents and purposes they're like an adopted brother and sister as they seem that close and have been raised together etc., but I do agree it's not too much different from surrogacy by a sister really, but this just seems weirder because she's really going to be pregnant by her foster brother. I wouldn't say it's THAT bad, it's just the context that they are so close as foster siblings, also it just feels a bit of an odd choice of storyline for me, I think an anonymous sperm donor would be fine and a storyline that shows someone with dwarfism can have and raise a child despite people's concerns would be enough in itself!

Yeah, it's not quite Brookside but it's still skin-crawling for the fact they've been brought up with a brother-sister relationship so would essentially have the same feelings towards one another as blood-related siblings would have.
Am I alone in loving Donna? the actress is actually really strong.

No I love her too! I felt like she could be in danger of being axed sadly though, but I think with this happening she should be fine.

As much as I adore her They really need to explain how Claudette got out of her own grave.

(with not a single flawless hair out of place)

I hope the new EP does a Kate Oates and gives all characters a storyline before axing because a lot of the cast members that could be at risk of getting axed seem quite capable and have potential to have really good characters - Donna in particularly is someone who just needs to do something and could easily end up as a solid character.
The Hubbard’s don’t do anything for me, I just can’t connect with of believe in them. I totally agree they need to explain how Claudette got out of her own grave as it was all such an anti-climax.

I am also a fan of Donna.

I love Claudette too but as amazing as those Mother's Day episodes were, I feel like they were too rushed and now they don't know what to do with her.

I'm getting confused with characterisations tonight. Jack hates Roxy because she was a drug mule yet he's fine sleeping with killer and kidnapper Ronnie? Kathy began as hostile towards Steven who she actually helped raise as her own first grandson just because he's not biologically and did some bad things she wasn't even around for when he was mentally ill? Particularly since she's been as good as claiming alien sightings to convince herself of Bobby's innocence!

The worst part was when Kathy said 'Ian's not going to forgive you overnight' It worked that way for her

My goodness, is he just attracted to EVERYONE? I am surprised no character had brought up the fact that he was gay back in 2008 yet.
f***s sake, with the way Jack has been with Roxy, you'd think she'd just murdered Amy or something

No, that would be fine. Jack can tolerate women who murder. Just not the mother of his child that looks after her when he goes missing for long stretches.
