To be fair its been proven that when the writing is good Les is more than able.

Oh Yeah much agree but I still find Les's acting weird and just not good on the whole

Les' awkward acting is serving this storyline very well tho. It's like he doesn't know how to be about the death of his grandson and quite realistic. Johnny is just speaking in monotone tainted with whine and gawping into space in a vain attempt to show emotion.

Perfectly said!!!

Claudette is just the most random character. It's like they still haven't settled on a personality for her. Good thing she's amazing.

And I know soaps are cliche heavy but I find it hard to believe that Mick's worries vanished the minute Lee was born-he was only 14 at the time ffs.

I feel like they'd have done better to have Claudette not seen at all from Mothers Day to like now, maybe even longer. It was a bit random how she just came back, was disowned and hated, and then not long after she's just swanning about like nothing has happened. There was such potential for a huge villain or just something more interesting than "mum will watch the stall"

And that begs questions now of 'where is she living?' and 'where does she get her income?'

'Your mum will help out' will she tho, Kim? What is her job?

I agree Claudette should've been left off screen until Autumn and then return in a revenge storyline. Her random reappearances have completely undermined the Mother's Day week story.

I guess we also won't be seeing Jordan again. Seems strange to recast and bring him back for such a short time!

Just caught up. Pam was incredible. Johnny was horrendous

To answer Les' question, I could easily hate Paul. Although my hatred had nothing to do with his sexuality.

And I don't want Belinda to change her tactic, she is flawless.

I'd quite like to see what Belinda's tactic with Shirley would be.
Johnny is horrific, he's worse than his parents for being omnipresent in storylines and scenes he doesn't need to be in :drama: At least Kellie Bright can act. It just feels like they're making Paul's death and Ben's grief about Johnny because he has sweet FA to do otherwise :/
