Look, we don't need to LAY into Cody. I understand how he's feeling because I have had something similar.

Take it back to 2012, I had a pretty amazing starting streak. Ignoring my debut contest, I hadn't DNQed at all for almost a year into the contest. Virtually never even got a DNQ prediction. Then the inevitable happened and I finally lost out.

So much for single-digit odds and perfect predictions, can't even get 30 points in a semi. Hi worst ever result.

I definitely should've stuck with Dream Beats.

That's the most 'bratty' post I can find, I imagine if I talked like that a lot now people'd get sick of me the same they've been doing to you. But I remember inside I was completely raging that I'd lost such a brilliant starting streak. It was even worse when I failed to qualify again a few months later, I was declaring that particular contest one of the worst I'd ever been in with similar 'I must be doing good in the Rejects' sentiments. But like with every passing DNQ I got a bit more serene. The only time lately I've been really properly annoyed was with Stamp! and again, while it was my favourite entry of last year, that was also coming off a long streak of qualifiers for me.

Cody, you're competitive, we get that. We don't hate you for that, we're just annoyed that you don't share the same perspective as us. But for god's sake man, grow a thicker skin because it'll help you so much in life, both here and elsewhere.

This is going to add a bit of spice to the semi results, I'm excited now :D Life motto: drama isn't bad if people learn from it.

i think what it is is no-one likes a woe is me, martyr-style, defeatist attitude - i didn't like it when iz did it back in 2012, i don't like it when cody does it nor do i like it when anyone else does it

no-one is owed anything by entering these things whether it be bjsc / rates / etc. - but it's not personal and there's no 'vendetta' if you don't do well (or even as well as you'd hoped)

you keep saying 'others' but it really is only seven that does anything like it and he does it for a joke, his posts are completely laced with humour. if yours is meant to be humour cody then i apologise, it's just not come across that way but if it's serious then you need to realise that's the difference between what seven does and what you do. there is NO major bias against you, so please stop acting paranoid and defeated and have a bit more fun with the site! i would think you think better of us than to plot against you?!

dear coday,

the only entries hyped are those of the skype coalition because it's like 45 of them and they all know each others' entries and listen to them regularly. sometimes they choose a token representative from the outsiders but that doesn't happen very often because this flock is not very keen on sharing attention, even if it's just a tiny amount. i remember being that token one that one time. this was the happiest week of my bjsc life. i felt validated. :')

i heard the last brade 'date' (BRATE) was just an excuse to get together to discuss the take over of bjsc and how they will lee wallace the next 10 contests. so basically we are all f***ed. i mean it's the only explanation why digitalism is like top 5 in the odds everywhere.

so in brief, imagine a circle jerk. that would be the most correct depiction of the bjsc you know and have grown to be kinda indifferent but still interested enough to be addicted to.
