Rihanna could snatch #1 next week if it keeps increasing. She has already pushed ahead of 7 years on Spotify, if she can over throw him on itunes the next few days she might actually do it.

I can see Rihanna being #1 on the Streaming chart next week but I really don't think she will get close to becoming the sales #1. I can see how spending a couple of weeks at #2

Really doubt Rihanna will be number 1 next week, the performance was mediocre IMO and the percentage rises have been steady but nothing spectacular.

Lukas Graham will be number 1 overall next week.

Best song inside the Top 10 right now. The video really reminds me of the video for 'Get Busy', celebrating Toronto's dancehall heritage.

:P

Shame the BRITs effect can't usurp Lukas Graham from the top spot

Dear God, this Rihanna track can even hardly be called a song, how can anyone on Earth like it let alone buy it? :o

It's a proof that music means nothing nowadays.

Certain snobbishness here. The beauty of music is in the eye of the beholder!

Well said! Music is all based on opinion, I rather like the Rihanna song, much better than most of the stuff on Talk That Talk/Unapologetic IMO.

I don't think it's exactly fair to tar the ENTIRE music scene with the same brush just based on this one song.

I think if anything, 'Work' proves that Rihanna still has what it takes to sell a record by name. Regardless of personal opinions on the song, it's still not exactly something you'd expect to be an instant hit, if a hit at all, but Rihanna has got people interested in it all the same.
Work is a great song but that performance was emberassing.

Very true - although I actually love Talk That Talk and don't really get the hate for it. I know it was definitely a step down from the brilliance of Loud but 'Birthday Cake', 'Cockiness' and 'We Found Love' were all monsters for me. Unapologetic was a misfire though imo, bar 'Pour It Up'.

I didn't like 'Work' at first but I think it's an acquired taste. Fair enough, it's not exactly ground-breaking but the chorus is so infectious.

Yes.

I have a feeling that it wouldn't have been a hit if by someone else.
