I do like the fact that the singer of "Faded" is credited - most people will probably think it's Ellie Goulding.

Glad I'm not the only one to hear the resemblance! The "me" on "the monsters running wild inside of me" is SO her. Very happy it has been added.

Thank God the boring 'Snake Eyes' and horrid 'The Right Song' have been removed!

I don't know if it's a mistake from either HDD or BBC Radio 1 (to forget to include the following), but the former is listing that "Hands to Myself" was playlisted as well.
How many weeks is that Love Yourself has been on the playlist now lol, we are only 3 weeks from Easter and it was on there since December I think loll!

Neither Radio 1's twitter nor facebook list 'Hands To Yourself' so we'll just assume it hasn't been playlisted. We'll see when they post it on the website on Monday what it says.

13 weeks now... coming for Gotye's record next week!

That Weeknd song is a tune.

Agreed.

Great that J Hus has been added to the INMWT list - I didn't think it sounded mainstream enough for Radio 1 but it certainly has an infectious charm.

I think the oposite, I think, given we've had a few playlist mistakes lately, that it has been playlisted, given that we all expected it anyway. Unless they added it, took it off and postponed it for next week last minute and HDD somehow have the first draft.

Yeah, the latter seems more plausible. It can't simply be an omission because the playlist has the right number of songs. I guess we'll find out next week.

They're not going to playlist Sia/Sean Paul are they? :(

I think they will :D

This is like Jess' 20th single so surely its better to give that space to something more deserving?
^They don't consider that when it's the 20th single from a Mumford & Sons album or any other Radio 1 favourite! :P
In fairness to Mumford and Sons they don't exactly get rinsed 25 times a day on stations like Capital like Jess does so I don't mind them playing their singles a lot although it would be nice if the replaced it with another new indie band/track.

Selena Gomez is on the breakfast show next week. Nick said this morning. So probably playlisted on Wednesday.

Glad to see Mumford off. That song is one depressive song specially the horrible instrumental.

Nine songs out of the current top 10 are on the playlist, I'm pretty sure that was a rarity even a few years ago when the charts were moving faster :o
