Will this be bigger than Roses?

This is VERY good but still nothing on Roses.

 

I love the instrumental in the verses & Daya sounds really quite strong on vocals.

I'm not too much of a fan of this at the moment, but I can see myself growing to like it eventually.

 

Considering Roses hasn't even entered the top 40 yet, it's a bit too early to make predictions about this, however I think it sounds like a hit, maybe in the mid summer after the hype of Roses is all gone and its gone from the chart.

this could be a minor hit I guess but 'Roses' is a lot better.

similar situation to kygo last year, lining up the hits on spotify, with 'stole the show' bubbling under as 'firestone' finally blew up~

The first minute of the song is amazing, and it's building to what should be a great drop, and then it goes into that weird drop that just doesn't fit with the song. I remember the first time I heard it on the radio about three weeks ago, I was like "don't be a shit drop, don't be a shit drop, don't be shit drop......... DAMMIT!"

totally agree! It would be great a "non drop" version!

 

This is REALLY good!! Their best to date I think, obviously miles ahead of Selfie and I prefer it to Roses too. Daya's vocals are incredible and I really like the drop actually. Big hit please!

Yeah definitely agree with you on the Daya vocals, Joseph. I really want her to break out and be a big star already but if this giving her her first top 40 can help kick start that then that's great. I find her voice really interesting actually and one that stands out in a good way against the big female stars right now! This & Roses are so above and beyond compared to Selfie it's ridiculous lol!
