I think this could be the most interesting season yet, idk much about the story it's based on but I'm loving the documentary set up, even if it did take me a bit to grasp :kink:

ADINA PORTER THO!!!!

YES YES AND YES I loved this especially the raining teeth scene and weird Blair Witch objects and the ending omg
I think that's maybe a new thing as it's only been since freakshow that they've started linking back I think? Peppa from Asylum etc and then we had coven stuff in hotel plus Sarahs season one character, I really love it when they overlap the seasons tho so I'm excited to see what they do with this! I was getting murder house vibes at the start so maybe they'll even do sonething with that :o
North Carolina is geografically quite far from LA which is where the murder house and the hotel are so I guess the connection won't be too obvious.
This season is going to be a trifecta of amazingness between Sarah, Angela and Kathy isn't it? I'm here for this 100%.
Fantastic first episode, already more intriguing than Hotel imo. Loved the documentary style feel to it. Angela Bassett was amazing as always.

that episode was EVEN MORE TERRIFYING THAN THE FIRST. really enjoying the pacing of things so far but I need more Gaga pls !!!! also where is Evan

I don't want to be premature on this but, are we currently watching the best season yet?? :o

I'm really loving it atm. BUT with everything from season 3 to present, I found out that AHS tends to start off strong/promising, before just ending up in circles and not really going anywhere. (I still need to finish season 5!)

Was the episode meant to be only 38 mins long!? It felt so short. Really enjoyed it though, so it's already doing better than hotel for me, which crashed in episode 2.
The professor/hand-held cam bit was terrifying to watch  Had to take my headphones out when I knew the jumpscare was nearly there. I like the fact that this season seems easier to keep up with what's going on; I struggled especially with Hotel to keep up with all the goings on they were throwing at us from the beginning so I'm appreciating the less 'in your face' approach we seem to have this season!

Well from the first episode, I'm sure this could finally be the first season since Coven I actually finish. Not the most original premise granted, but it was refreshing to have a simple and scary premise and not the extreme style/overload of characters over substance and storytelling which was the main reason I couldn't finish Freak Show or Hotel (and the shorter episode length was also a relief, there was way too much of an overload of scenes that didn't go anywhere in past seasons in like hour long episodes so it's nice to get a running time that's straight to the point).

I'm admittedly unsure how they can sustain this format over a whole 13 episodes, but still this has definitely given me more reason to stick with this.
