Posted March 26, 20169 yr Lnps91BM-cs they list cocteau twins / kate bush and fleetwood mac as primary influences. you can deffo here the latter crossed with imogen heap in 'winterbreak'. one of the most exciting debut singles for some time. A LOT of potential!
March 26, 20169 yr Anticipated great things as soon as I saw this thread and 'Winterbreak' has managed to surpass them! I'm very likely to fall for anything with an Imogen Heap-esque vocoder but this really uses it to sublime effect <3. Quite an interesting song structurally too. always struck me as having elements of Fleetwood Mac (as well as HAIM and Tegan and Sara) so it's not surprising to see them cite the band as a big influence. 'Loudspeaker' is also good/more on the poppy side, if anyone's interested. :D
April 7, 20169 yr Author MUNA The Loudspeaker EP (RCA Records) May 6, 2016 1. Loudspeaker 2. So Special 3. Winterbreak 4. Promise

February 9, 20178 yr Heard this being played at work. But they turned it off half way through coz one member of staff thought they heard swearing (pretty sure they were hearing things) so I've been listening to it ever since and it's brilliant! 'I Know A Place' is a corker! Very HAIM covering Christine & the Queens I feel!
