Never heard of Desiigner before, but this song is gathering steam so I thought it deserved it's own thread. Becoming quite the hit in America and A-Listed by 1Xtra over here, with increasing spins in the clubs. Heavily trap influenced rap song, Desiigner is signed to GOOD music and thus has a co-sign from Kanye West.

Love this!

Kanye HEAVILY samples this in 'Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2'.

Have been obsessed with it since that came out. So damn good!

Would love it to be a hit.

Desiigner also features on 'Freestyle 4' from 'The Life of Pablo' which he's great in also, can't wait to hear more from him.

Don't you think that he will be a one-song-wonder? It's amazing, to get signed by major label after releasing 1 banger.

He could well be to be honest. In England recently, we've had Meridian Dan and WSTRN signed by a major label after releasing one song that blew up on the underground scene. 'German Whip' and 'In2' were then promoted and got into the charts.

Starting to wonder if this could be a Billboard #1, or at least top 3. Doesn't particularly sound like a #1 but it's climbing faster than everything else. Would like to see that too, have been enjoying this ever since hearing it on Kanye's album.

Never heard of Meridian Dan and WSTRN. So they aren silent now?

They're examples of artists who released one big song and got signed to a major label - now they release music with major label backing.

A better example may be Fetty Wap. I can't imagine he was signed before Trap Queen dropped.

But Wap still keep making good music. He's debut album is awesome! A lot of cool songs.

I'm sure Desiigner will release a good debut album too, only time will tell!

I think this will be huge over here now... In the Top 50 on Spotify and rising rapidly. Everybody thinks this sounds like a Future knock-off though.
Hmmm not feeling this atm but it was the same with Trap Queen so here's hoping it's also a grower. Doesn't really have a HOOK like Trap Queen did mind.

Trap Queen is essentially two massive hooks, which Panda has just one... The trajectories both songs took to success are strikingly similar though and if you'd had told me last year that Trap Queen would have been quite THAT huge I wouldn't have believed you.

Song of the year for me after 'Work.

Really can't wait to see what else he comes out with.

This really does sound like a Future knockoff. Except it's better than most actual Future songs. Would love to see this becoming a UK hit, not sure I really see it taking off that much though, it lacks the pop appeal of 'Trap Queen'. Will probably just be about as big as 'Hot Nigga' (maybe a bit bigger since it's already matched that song's peak of #74).

this is better than anything Future has ever made

Low Life is great tho

I do see your point, but I think this is nailed on Top 40.

The day before yesterday Desiigner's 'Panda' Reached No. 1 on Hot Rap Songs Chart, Soars Into Top 10 on Hot 100.
Good god this is HORRIFIC. It's nothing like Trap Queen, that was really catchy and had such a great melody for a song of its ilk.

My body can't understand how you could sit and listen to this without bopping like f***.

It is legit impossible for me.
