April 7, 20169 yr Looking at Release Schedule for Albums for next week the number 1 is really up for grabs unless there is a surprise Release (Beyoncé ? Radiohead ?), there doesn't seem to be anything new that will challenge and Adele has dropped off this week (down in 15-20k range now). It might be too much to ask for Sia to continue her rise to top (unless there is some significant Promotion)... Edited April 7, 20169 yr by timjimlee
April 7, 20169 yr Pop Style needs to sell about 4k today to make the top 40, could happen but don't get your hopes up! where is birdy-beautiful lies and wild horses Wild Horses is #72, Beautiful Lies is #17!
April 7, 20169 yr Poor All Saint's aren't even top 200. I thought considering they've been 50 - 60 on iTunes most of the week, they'd be able to improve on their previous position of #192
April 7, 20169 yr Drake safely in the play zone for tomorrow then :cheer: All hail Drake, saviour of the chart's phreshness *.*

It might be too much to ask for Sia to continue her rise (unless there is some significant Promotion)... Yeah, I'm slightly worried about the sales for the #1 album in coming weeks. Can't see any new release topping the chart next week; probably PJ Harvey the week after (pretty sure Let England Shake was met with huge critical acclaim and managed 22k on first week; nothing from the new releases again the following week; then Katy B perhaps. That said, there's a number of artists that could drop their album this month - Beyonce, Radiohead, Drake, Britney (Drake being the most likely) - and I couldn't think of a better time to do so. May looks much more busier with Gregory Porter, Meghan Trainor, Ariana Grande, Fifth Harmony, Catfish and the Bottlemen etc. releasing.
April 7, 20169 yr Erm as much as id love sia to go number 1 next week is she really a serious challenger all this week mike has pulled further and further away
April 7, 20169 yr sure Adele will go back to #1 next week but homely PJ Harvey will be #1 the week after Edited April 7, 20169 yr by Bjork
April 7, 20169 yr Selena top 15 :jonny: She'll probably get knocked out due to the missing streaming data tho
April 7, 20169 yr Erm as much as id love sia to go number 1 next week is she really a serious challenger all this week mike has pulled further and further away Mike only outsold her by just under 600 copies yesterday and she's still increasing. So yes, she is a serious challenger :P
April 7, 20169 yr If Adele goes back to #1 the week Katy B's album charts, it will be the second time that Adele has robbed Katy B of a #1 album
April 7, 20169 yr Update from Sia on Twitter yesterday: "Something special is coming later this week for those of you who love #CheapThrills" - Team Sia It does seem we may be getting a new Remix / possibly another Collaboration. Looks like Team Sia have the number 1 in their sights.
April 7, 20169 yr With Galantis now top 60 on Spotify, they could secure a place in the top 40 tomorrow. If not, they'll be a dead cert next week

Actually looks like it is not as originally thought, it has been confirmed: New Sia @Spotify session coming tomorrow! - Team Sia
April 7, 20169 yr Hopefully, "Pop Style" will make it to top 40 tomorrow. And I want DNCE to stop Major Lazer from re-entering the top 10. It's not fair that new songs are suffering because older songs are being helped by NOW 93. Shame AlunaGeorge's song is album-only on NOW 93 as it could have eventually made top 40 if it was the case. With will.i.am releasing tomorrow, he can hopefully put an end to Mike Posner's reign at the top Major Lazers continued to remain steady because it's on an ad I think tho!
