I'm quite sure My House has been and gone! R1 playlisted it ages ago.

I heard that 'Panda' thing and it's an abortion! I saw comparisons to 'Trap Queen' but I could at least see the appeal of that (and even enjoy it if I was really wasted).

Panda will be a top 20 hit as a minimum... personally I think Top 10. Such a tune! Considering a video hasn't been released just yet (Desiigner has had a VEVO channel created so it's coming soon) it should continue to climb.

 

Got a feeling that My House will be pushed again - didn't really take off last autumn and it's become huge in America since then. Like has been said, probably sold well still.

I'd love it if 'My House' belatedly took off. I actually thought it looked likely a few weeks back when it was nearing the top 40 on iTunes, but it seems to have fallen back quite a bit since then, so I don't imagine it'll happen now.

 

I've heard 'Panda' once I believe and it didn't make much of an impression on me, but I'll reserve judgment on it for now.

Such divided opinion over 'Panda'! I'm not a big fan of it yet but then again 'Trap Queen' took ages to grow on me and I ended up loving it, so who knows. It does look it's going to be a big hit regardless though.

Well I really like 'Panda' but I'd still be shocked if it took off much more than it already has, when was the last time a song like this was a big hit in the UK? Capital FM support is pretty much crucial to becoming a big hit and there's surely no way they're getting anywhere near such a 'pure' hip-hop track. I wouldn't be surprised if even Radio 1 didn't playlist it. It's the sort of song that makes sense as a big hit in the USA but not so much here. I'd be glad to be proven wrong though.

 

It does look like it'll at least go top 40 which is already not a bad achievement.

 

Unrelated: Calum Scott nearly top 10. Did anyone figure out why this is suddenly doing so well yet? I had a look on Twitter/YouTube and I don't see any reason for the sudden boost.

he was in LA according to his FB page all of last week so don't think it's tv promo

but also, why is charting now? the cover was upped originally 2 years ago... then performed on the BGT auditions like 1 year ago... why now? it would have made more sense to chart after BGT last year not now :)

 

Not much effect yesterday for Hair being TOTD yesterday but think it's normal for Sundays having less effect for some reason...
