May 12, 20169 yr Bulgaria / Poli Genova - If Love Was A Crime / I don't think that felt as impactful live as it does on the studio version and I'm gonna put that down to the staging. The crash into that chorus really shouldn't hit in with her just doing some weird leg wiggle. It needs people with big drums on stage, something maybe in the vein of Linus Svenning's Forever Starts Today? If I hadn't heard it beforehand and loved the studio, I don't think I'd be AS impressed. But, it's undeniably a very good song and I love that chorus, I just wanted more live. I don't think it's a bad song by any means, it is rather melodic, but in a pack of all these other songs, much like Ireland, it completely pales.
