Relatively unknown Argentinian producer Offaiah has put out a very summery-tinged house track which has been receiving support from Dance Anthems on Radio 1.

Offaiah confirmed on Twitter last week that he's found a record label to release Trouble through so it should be released soon :cheer:

I always thought the vocals sounded slightly familiar so I did a bit of digging and found it's a sample of a Lil Wayne & Charlie Puth song!

Really good it's like its a lost 2006 dance hit with The Love Don't Let Me Go electro drop and the Beatfreakz/Infernal eurodance sounding synth later in the song. Add to this the female disco vocals (big in the mid 2000s) and the fact its looped house with fadeouts it sounds very nostalgic.

I wondered where the sample came from...never heard the Lil Wayne/Puth song before.

I hope dance music goes in this direction again, back to being vibrant and not chilled, there has been too much chilled this decade.

From offaiah's Facebook:

The music video for #Trouble is close to being complete - hopefully I can share it with you guys in the next few days 😃

This song really reminds me of Beatfreakz - Somebody Watching Me for some reason (I think its because the style is similar looped house and the second drop in the song is particularly Beatfreakz-esque with the long bassline synths) so I was hoping for a more fun Beatfreakz style video.

Dance videos are much too serious these days imo.

Anyway the song was good and I am hoping it does well
