I keep forgetting that the entire rock bloc is in the OPPOSITE SEMI

Ooh interesting that my song is not the only one in semi 1 in a Middle Eastern language ~ I hope semi 1 is in the mood for Arabic vox and jazz pianos. I spy quite a few of the people who I thought might like this song in my semi so I'm pretty happy with that draw I think.

 

Have already heard 3 other songs in semi 1 - yess at you sending 'Socila' and not being able to replace it Chris <3 (PS you never replied to my last PM, cry)

Oh yes I meant to PM Cameron about that but I forgot in all the Eurovision madness! But yes Cameron, if you could shift your results a day or two back depending on when you are available then that would be great as our spin-off calendar is much more flexible than the main contest calendar which we are already a bit behind. :D

I will push it back to the 23rd with results on the 24th if that is alright as it suits me in terms of work 😁

I showed one of my friends inrl some of Taahino's entries (I was trying to explain BJSC to her, and she's a rock fan) and she showed me Icon For Hire and told me to show Lindsey! so there is a Lottsey connection :o

They're a band I stumbled upon while looking for potentials at one point last year but for whatever reason didn't go back to until a friend of Lotti's recommended them to me a couple of months ago and I've been hooked ever since, I had to send the feminist anthem ofc, #LottisImpakt although they do have a lot of humourous tracks :lol:

I just realized my entry might qualify as a cat alarm, even though it's not dance :kink:

 

Only two songs I recognize, from Cor Lupus (former potential of mine, please qualify!) and TARO Bellamia (the inferior Canadian Shawn, Joseph you traitor!!1)

OMG I almost ended up sending RMB - Spring after my first two choices got veto'ed...can you imagine if I did that and got response from Oliver that is already taken...I would never believe him :lol:...it's an amazing chune.
